It's behind the gas station in its own building. I stopped there for lunch and had the standard lunch special and it was good. The staff was friendly and the food was typically Subway (Eat Fresh). No complaints. It worked for me.

Paschal's Southern Cuisine

We departed Dayton this morning with temperatures in the low 30’s to Palm Beach with temperatures in the mid 80’s.We have allowed ample time for Delta delays, and dodged the bullet in reference to the East Coast post-Christmas winter storm. We have discovered Paschal's Southern Cuisine.Interesting Southern Fare. We eschew the fried meats, and enjoy a Three Vegetable Plate: Collard Greens, Black-eyed Peas and Sweet Potatoes. Paschal's Southern Cuisine is a great option when connections do not permit a longer dining experience.

Figured hitting up a Southern institution for breakfast would be a good idea, and maybe it would be but not at this Terminal B (center island) location. Had 3 biscuits -- bacon egg cheese, sausage egg cheese and smoked sausage egg cheese. The eggs were all industrial scrambled -- probably from powder? But mediocre consistency at best and no flavor. The biscuits were all small hard hockey pucks, not the large airy southern biscuits one expected. The bacon was bland, the sausage was bland -- but the smoked sausage actually wasn't to bad and was the best of the lot. The price was a tad high, even for airport food at about $3.50 per biscuit. With lots of other options available I'd skip this for breakfast.TIP: One thing they do have, and some swear by it -- is fried catfish (yes, for breakfast). It actually looked pretty good so that maybe of interest.

The spicy Cajon chicken had no flavor at all. The only flavor I could taste was the spread on the wrap. The food was bad and the service marginal. If you are looking for a quick bite when heading to the airport, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Grindhouse Killer Burgers

The ordering system computer takes your money almost as fast as Amazon.com, but it feels like your food has to go through the TSA security check at the airport too. Burger passable, but not sure it was the one I actually ordered. Ordering system a bit confusing.4 dollars for bottled water is tourist trap pricing. You can look into the kitchen and see the slow motion. Few tables available to eat, and occupied by people who appeared not to be paying customers. It took about a half hour to get served, so go to eat well ahead of flight departure. Forgettable experience.

All I wanted was a simple breakfast sandwich. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was not even as good as an egg m-muffin elsewhere. The "home fries" were probably the worse I have ever had. But hey... the coffee was good! For a nationally known chef, the restaurant seriously needs to upgrade their food. I will NOT return.

Surprising to find a Southern style restaurant. Tasty down home cooking which is a real change from the basic fast food options nearby. Had the chicken which was just very tasty. It hit the spot. What a nice change.

Paschal's

Reviewed By davidbmarietta241

Our visit to Paschal's was part of a food tour so we were not privy to a full sit down meal experience. This review will be based on what we were served while visiting during the tour. Our first stop was at Paschal’s which is located in the heart of the historic Castleberry Hill neighborhood you will find place complete with a rich history from six decades. Paschal’s is known for its exceptional Southern Cuisine, upscale atmosphere, and a retro style that gives customers the perfect southern hospitality experience. We were taken upstairs and seated at a long table where we were served a fried chicken leg, candied yams and a small bowl of grits. Yes, I would consider these items to be southern food. The fried chicken had great seasoning and a really crispy, light crust. It was done very well! The yams are pretty easy to make and not a favorite of mine but my wife likes them. They were what I expected from yams. Now grits are something I take personal. I have eaten grits as long as I can remember and I have had bad ones as well as great ones over the years. These were supposed to be ‘Cheesy Grits’ but were just plain cold grits with some shredded cheddar cheese sprinkled on top and just bad!. A true southern food restaurant should never serve cold grits and especially never ones that had no salt. All they have to do is to add a little chicken broth in the boiling water with some salt and pepper then add the grits. As they firm up, add some cream and cheese and then you have southern cheesy grits. It’s not hard to do and these people who visit from up north won’t leave thinking grits are horrible because I saw the faces of some of our group and you could tell they did not like them. Overall, I would consider returning the Paschal’s again. The people there were very friendly and welcoming and it is a really interesting building.Hi David,Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience. I am pleased to hear that our team made your experience pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again soon!Selena Styles

Chick-fil-A

We stopped here looking for a meal before heading to the airport and this seemed to be the best choice. It was really crowded and the food was the standard Chick-Fil-A choices. I didn’t see a sit down restaurant but there was lots of memorabilia on the walls explaining its history. Cool to eat in the original.
