My wife and one of our adult sons went to Ichiban because our son requested it on his birthday. Ichiban is consistent, predictable, and it is part food and a large measure of entertainment.All of the food was good, our chef was capable and entertaining. The sashimi dinner roll (âbumble beeâ) we ordered was fabulous. Dinner for three without drinks, a dinner roll appetizer, and no desserts, was $120 with tip. It is always about that much no matter how we try to mix and match.It is in a convenient location on Windward Parkway, and a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours with family or friends.If this review is helpful then please click below.

Modest, unpretentious, delicious. Soft-touch service, super-fresh fish (uni is always a good barometer and it was gorgeous). Hamachi Kama (collar) was perfect (fatty, juicy inside crisp outside) and the sole cooked dish on this our first visit. Will go out of my way and drive up to Sushi Uchi when in ATL next time as it pushes all the happy izakaya/kaiseki happy buttons.

Last week I was there with 11 colleagues for dinner. I don't eat sushi and have a dairy allergy so was unsure what to expect. To my surprise the choices I had were numerous and the food was outstanding!! The wine list was good with excellent prices as well. Our server was Bryan and I hope to have him again.......After dinner the desert menu came and he suggested they make something dairy free for me, that I have to say is a first for me and what they made was great bananas in tempura batter with a honey glaze. Oh and by the way the 10 people that do eat sushi highly recommend this restaurant as well.
