Made reservations for our family for a birthday party on a Friday night. The lazy guy that was only there to apparently hold the front counter down said they could only get us seated at two separate tables but we saw multiple open tables available close together when seated. Food was subpar. Wish they would hire a nice hostess to work and actually help patrons instead of the waste that was sitter there with his feet on the counter the entire time. Ugh. So sad this place has dropped its standards. Used to be a go-to.

We went to this restaurant with 3 adults and 4 children. Five of us got personal pizzas ($5 plus toppings) and two got Stromboli's. Everything was made to order and came out hot and delihcious. The restaurant was clean and had lots of seating. You order at the counter and get your own fountain drinks and the food is brought to your table when it is ready.

We got a late start for today's date. As a result, we only had about 30 minutes to eat before the movie that we were going to see. I didn't think we would have time to wait for the food to arrive so I asked for to go boxes to come out with the meal. Our waitress was very accommodating and put a rush on our order. It came out with 15 minutes to spare. I was able to finish off my entire meal with time left. My wife enjoyed her strawberry pecan salad and a bite or two of her steak. Thanks to the efforts of our waitress, we were able to get to the movie on time. The food was delicious and the service was extraordinary. We will have to go back when we have more time to enjoy sitting and eating.

You can smell the great aroma of hickory smoke all around the square of Carrollton. The food is great, service is great, and the prices are great. If you like BBQ, you must try Sam's.

We just sat at the bar to try some of the local beers of Georgia. The bar staff is friendly and fun. Gave several tastings of beer so we could decide upon a brew to enjoy. I love it that in Georgia you can get a traveler so you can go down the street and enjoy an event and your drink

Tried the Corner Cafe again after a great lunch back in July but this time it was terrible. It took them close to an hour to prepare our soup, salad and sandwiches. The broccoli and cheddar soup was nothing but milky cheese and a couple of sticks of broccoli. It was absolutely the worst soup we have ever had. Got my husband's sandwich order wrong and gave him some type of beef when he ordered chicken. The waitress who had waited on us in July and super nice was not concerned in the least this time with getting our orders correct or bringing our drinks, etc. We will not be going back to this restaurant ever again!

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday and decided to get Chicken and waffles. The bourbon syrup and chicken were good, the waffle was a bit different for me. It was more hearty and dense than I would have preferred. And they had gravy on the side that I thought would have complemented better with apple butter for the allspice flavored waffle. Never had, nor wanted to try Fried Green Tomatoes but the ones I had there were great. Definitely get them again

Me and my wife are huge foodies. So when close friends of ours were told by servers at there favorite tourist place here in Georgia that a few of the cooks/chefs re located here to Carrollton at plates on the square, as you can imagine we jumped at the chance to come eat a great meal with friends. I must say service was great but food was barely decent. It felt more like a wing/bar joint then whatâs advertised online as great food. The food you could tell had been just sitting and warmed up to order. Wonât be attending here again.

The Highland Deli & Grill is small, literally small, but has a large selection of sandwiches and deli food. It's all fresh and made at the moment (which means you'll have to wait a bit) BUT it is excellent and very fairly priced.
