Quiet, cool and comfortable
Reviewed By Katieclem46The only problem with this property is that it is hard to spot as it is located on a corner as you drive in amongst the shops. It’s painted dark red/brown and is above the restaurant. Marion is lovely and arrived promptly to welcome us even though we were late. Everything is immaculate and modern, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Breakfast was extremely good with a basket of freshly baked breads. A further thoughtful touch was the provision of doggy bags and enough bread, cheese and meats to make lunch. In this summer of high temperatures it was cooler than most as the building exterior is older and our room had a pleasant little balcony overlooking the square. Teas were provided in the room. A very well run establishment and I highly recommend it.

Reviewed By AdrianaAndroVery hospitable and kind hosts. We arrived late and they adjusted. Rich and varied food for breakfast and suitable for vegetarians. There is agree snack one can take for the day during hiking for example. Beautiful views and close to attractions and hiking paths.

Warm welcome after long walk
Reviewed By Katy845We arrived in Gemund and basically did a quick search for a decent place to stay. It only took one phone call to confirm. Lovely people that understand that a tub full of salt and herbs is just the welcome sore feet need? The rooms are fine, nothing fancy and why should it be, a balcony to relax on and if you want a drink just pop downstairs to check out the fridge stocked with a nice diverse selection. Breakfast is superb, if you are into your grainy nutty start of the day.....fill your boots.....all is there. For the rest everything is lovely. We will definitely come back!

Ok, but expensive
Reviewed By LPChesterIn general this hotel was ok, but the rather high price tag was not really justified. Room was ok but small. Hotel staff was friendly but the English was quit poor (which was not really an issue, but still for an expensive hotel you might expect more). Further no real accomodations that would justify the higher pricetag (e.g. no garden). Good restaurant & good location to visit the Eifel

Reviewed By Marina MIch war leider nur eine Nacht in dieser superschönen Jugendherberge, aber ich kann sie nur weiterempfehlen! Großzügige Zimmer, behindertengerechte, große Badezimmer, Fußbodenheizung. Und total nette Mitarbeiter! Gerne wieder!
