Had a nice meal here, 3 courses. Asparagus was in season so menu had a lot of asparagus in each dish - But surprisingly nice cosidering I'm not the biggest asparagus eater.Nice beer on draught and bottles, waiting staff friendly and helped me translate the Dutch Menu to English - call in and give it a try.

As this hotel is part of a relais & chateau chain, the food here is exeptionally good, relying on local products and prepared by chef Hermien Beltman.among the dishes you may find excellent fish (some smoked) and game (duck, rabbit or deer). the desserts are spectacular not only in taste but also in appearance

Very friendly staff, restaurant is nice located in the city centre of Winterswijk. We had the soup of the day and toasted bread with cheese which was delicious. Good food for a good price and very friendly personnel: will definitely come back.

Great sandwiches and cappuccino. The outside seating in the market area near the church can't be beat. Wait staff was great and friendly too. I definitely will be back during our stayâ¦.

Business dinner with colleagues.De Revolutie was a real discovery. Ambience is very nice and in spite of dimension (quite big place in total) the feeling is of a cozy restaurant.Food quality is btw very good and excellent and quantities are remarkable.As last (but not least) element: people are really friendly and gentle.A place to visit again and again

Went here because of our annual friends day! Had 4 courses and they were all just amazing. Wines were great too as well, no complaints at all. Have not been here in 5 years, but definitely need to go soon again!

Went there with my colleagues. We had a very good six course dinner. The food was both fish and meat. The waiter was really helpful, fun and provided an excellent service. He even had google translate read what the courses were in Icelandic. I recommend that everybody that is traveling to Winterswijk or close by to have dinner there.

My husband and I arrived last night for dinner with high expectations for this Michelin one star restaurant and things started out very well indeed. They had reserved a table outside on the veranda for us, as we requested but weren't promised, and our drinks arrived with a creative assortment of snacks on the house. There is no English menu but our waiter expertly translated it all for us and we chose our starters and main course with anticipation. A bottle of chilled white wine arrived with our starters soon after ordering and the food was as delicious as it was artfully presented. The snag came when more people arrived and things got busy and our main course order seemed to have been lost in the shuffle. We waited and waited and finally after what seemed like 30 minutes, my husband got up and found the waiter (he hadn't seen us waving to him) and asked where our order was. He apologized and said the kitchen had gotten behind but we had witnessed other tables getting their main courses when they had ordered after us. Anyway, the main course finally arrived and was excellent. We next ordered one dessert to share, never thinking we'd have to wait again for ice cream but we did, way more than we should have. By the time we left, we were very disappointed in our evening and will not return there again. We don't know if it was our waiter (he should have seen us sitting at our table with no food for so long but didn't appear to notice or check on us) or the kitchen staff that lost or mixed up our order. Anyway, lovely ambiance and food, terrible service.

The location of this restaurant is very particular. It's in a countryside full of green. I've been here with my family and i took the 3 courses meal (34 â¬). I got deer as appetizer and lamb as main course. They were really delicious. This place is famous for white asparagus that are very good. In addition the Wine is very good, i got Sirah a french Wine.
