I had a big cup of coffee at this shop, the person who showed me to my table was not friendly, but the lady who served me was a Star. A nice place with good coffee. Keep your slip when you paid and take it to the Customer Care with your parking ticket. They will stamp your parking ticket and then your parking is free. something to remember.

Mug and Bean restaurants are to be found in many locations in South Africa, even in Kruger National Park, but this own is a bit better than others in this excellent franchise. Very good service and fresh and delightful food both for lunch and desert. The tea and drinks are very good and the location is just right in this small but upscale shopping center.

Out with my cousin; the weather starts getting a bit nippy on our way to a jol. So she starts nagging to get Iris coffee first. I am irritated at this point because we are already in Daveyton, where are we going to get coffee??? Next thing we stop at this place; from the outside it looks like the typical chill places that have popped up everywhere. We walk in and instant "American diner" feel! They are playing golden oldies, there's a few guys at the bar, some of which you can tell are there just to drawn their sorrows and speak to the barman. To some up our experience, this is a place you'd want to take a date for a peaceful convo, have a business meeting or just chill with friends. Nothing I would imagine in a township at all.

Our first visit to this new cafe venue in Benoni. It is a good concept, pleasant & a little quirky. With a relaxing lounge area & outdoor seating too. There were only a few other diners, so atmosphere was a little lacking. The service was good and the food acceptable, if a little pricy.

Dropped in for some Friday afternoon lunch and beers. Good place with views over golf course and excellent selection of craft beers with decent and good value food. Got busier as afternoon went on and a good crowd in enjoying the Joburg winter sun.

What a little gem of a venue this is.A roadside store turned restaurant/bakery, this is a hungry person and or browsers delight.Served from a menu of good wholesome food, traditional and otherwise, the helpings are generous and tasteful.Seating inside and out really brings "old and new" together.The star or stars of the establishment are their "homemade" pies. Remarkable taste and we ordered from there for a church function we had.The selection of freshly baked bread is a real "take home" must.Need a painting for that empty lounge or passage wall? Here too you can helped.Home baked pie lovers, this is the place for you.

We visited on a Friday morning and were pointed in the direction of the breakfast special , only available during the week. We settled for the two eggs, bacon, tomato, toast and coffee. We were not disappointed, good portions and promptly served hot. R37.00- a bargain, try it.Thanks for the positive feedback glad you enjoyed the breakfast. Hope to see you again soon.

They have a lovely breakfast menu and the food is always good quality. Cappuchino's are excellent. The staff are attentive and the service is quick. On the downside, their speciality pastries in the reception area are not great and are overpriced.
