It is hard to find appealing restaurants in Ganja, Azerbaijan's second largest city. The Cave is 5 minutes walk from Ganja Hotel. It is a favorite of Peace Corps volunteers. The cuisine is Azeri and Georgian--doesn't fit into your categories above!

Good atmosphere and good food--Azeri and Georgian--reasonably priced, with a menu in English ,and staff (the manager?) speak some English as well. We had a birthday there and they were very kind and accomodating.
Tips: The restaurant is two or three blocks off the main drag (Xatai St.), on the pedestrian walkway, on a corner, down a few steps. near internet cafes. "Cave" is "Magara" in Azerbaijani.

The best bakery in Ganja city, Azerbaijan. Delicious cakes, baklavas and sweets. You can order birthday cake from our catalogue or baklava in advance.

Yes - there is excellent Paxlava for sale here AZN2.50 per piece. But this is a subterranean bakery shop NOT a restaurant so it seems to be mis-categorised here.

Interior looks newly renovated and clean.
Ordered tea while waiting for soup and turkish dishes (lahmacun and kiymali/kasharli pide).
Tea came "scared" too white even for light tea drinkers :)
While waiting for order noticed a client on the side table refused to pay for pizza and left the place.
Lahmacuns were oversaltedand and pide was exatly like lahmacun in different shape and cheese added on top.
Soup was probably the only thing I would order next time.
Overall service was good though. Personnel was responsive and friendly.
I would recommend this place for meeting than for eating.

I love this place. So charming, atmosphere is irresistible, delicious food. So far, this is my favorite place to rest and to eat in Azerbaijan. Nice lounge music, very fashionable, chic and yet very warm and welcoming staff! Located in the center of the city, in front of local government house. Some evenings they have live music, dont know the timetable though. I think they post it on facebook page. Prices in my opinion are very affordable. Pizza costs only 6 eur, sezar salad 4.50 eur.

We enjoyed the drinks and snacks. The place is really nice and tide. But in my opinion, it was too quiet for a pub. There are vip private rooms also are available.

We take our guests to this restaurant and every time they come here live Mugam nights, interior of inside, excellent services and deliciously cooked meals make them pleasure.. Arazbar Mugam House is one of the best restaurants in our city.

If you wish to drink a good latte of cappuccino, if you fancy Indian Chai Latte, if you wish for some biscuits as well - that is the place for you. Newly opened, properly run and full of young and business type people. This place could fit anywhere in the world and is worlds apart from the regular local Chaixanes.
Great and attentive service too.

We bumped into this place by chance - a new branch of the same restaurant in Baku. It looked lovely and inviting in the evening and we were not disappointed. The soups, salad and meat were all great and the portions were big. Everything is modern and spotlessly clean, They have a great range of things and the service is very attentive. Highly recommended.
