Franklin Park is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Franklin Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 13,295. Route 27 (historically known as Old Road/King's Highway and once part of the Lincoln Highway system) bisects the village and serves as the dividing line between the two counties. The adjacent sections of South Brunswick and North Brunswick, Middlesex County on the east side of Route 27 are also known as Franklin Park, but are not included within the CDP's boundaries.

We attended a wedding in Somerset,NJ, took a 15 minute drive to Sophie's Bistro and have been talking about it ever since. Delightful experience, from the atmosphere to the service to the quality and taste of the food.
Mussels appetizer was plentiful and tasty and my husband had escargot. We both had the special beef tenderloins, but we could have split one dinner due to portion size.
Restaurant owner visited each table, genuinely interested in how customers were enjoying their meal.
Although we did not sit at the bar, we noted it was great, seems some locals met their on a regular basis. Wine list had some very nice choices at reasonable prices.
Although the restaurant was full, it was not too noisy, due to its two rooms and limited number of tables.
We will definitely recommend this restaurant and dine here when in the area again.

Confectionately Yours is family owned and started out as a homemade ice cream and chocolates place about a half mile up the road and moved to a larger storefront in the Franklin Park Town Square. There's a lot of tables and booths but they fill up fast as we locals love this place for a good meal or just for dessert. Their burgers are juicy, go for their homemade ice cream, shakes and sundaes. There are about 20+ flavors which change from time to time.

They offer a full line of breakfast from bagels to french toast. If you're in the mood for pork roll, egg and cheese on an everything, or something healthier or one of their seasonal specialty bagels- apple cinnamon or pumpkin, this is the place to go.
Prices are very reasonable and they're very nice to their patrons.

It is a very good Italian restaurant that we frequent often. All their food is delicious and they give a large portion. I always get two meals out of one serving. My favorite is their Fettuccini Alfredo. But all their food is delicious. I hardly ever get the pizza but that is amazing too. I highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy!

Nice restaurant. Food is good especially the tandoori chicken, Hakka Noodles and Casatta. Worth giving it a shot.

Nicely flavored appetizers include hummus presented appetizingly, good stuffed grape leaves, garlicky eggplant baba ganough, each served with thin pieces of flat pita.
Entrees included a wonderful spicy grilled lamb sausage, chicken kebab pieces and roasted vegetables served over generous quantities of rice.
Desert included fresh baklava and chocolate cake. This restaurant manages large groups very easily.

I've been to Joe's for dinner many times, and have always had a great experience. Real Italian food and atmosphere, really is a hidden gem!
My daughter graduated college and we decided to host a small event for family and a few of her friends. Made sense to order from Joe's! They didn't disappoint, everyone raved about the food and many want to go to dinner there the next time they're around! Not only excellent food, but a lot of it for a fair price.
Thanks to the entire gang at Joe's, we'll be back soon.

Decor: With a nod to owner's heritage, it's whimsical, with authentic plates, puppets, etc. on the walls. Rustic. Bit tight, but we four were comfortable at our table.
Menu: Covers all the bases - pasta, fowl, shell/fish, lamb, beef/veal. Specials, too. Several salads, and two sizes of appetizers. BYOB.
Service: Friendly and attentive.
Quality: Excellent! Incredibly tasty entrees, as well as pancetta caesar salad. Lovely homemade breads (including focaccia, garlic knots) served warm from an earthenware breadbox. Sun-dried tomato paste in EVOO for the bread. Our table enjoyed entrees of Luca (shellfish/pasta), cannelloni and (chicken) marsala arosto.
Value: Very good based upon all of the above, and accounting for nice portion sizes.
We have been back a few times over many years, and have never been disappointed. The fig appetizer is a favorite. Make reservations ahead enough, especially for a Friday or Saturday night. A more scenic/special location and/or decor would take this into "5-star" rating territory. Regardless, we will be back!

My wife had been referred to this restaurant by a friend so we decided to try it. I had the Miso Ramen, which was tasty. I did the low sodium version, but it was a little bland (my fault). Next time I'll do the regular version.
My wife had the fried Udon, with chicken, which was delicious and better than my dinner!
