Pas un seul séjour à Valenciennes sans retourner dans notre resto italien préféré! Noue le connaissons depuis l'ouverture et c'est toujours un plaisir de revoir cette sympathique équipe et de savourer une excellente pizza bien garnie et avec une vraie pâte italienne. L'accueil est toujours très chaleureux, ici tout est fait pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison. En cuisine, la mama confectionne ses plats avec amour et, en salle, la patronne et la serveuse sont aux petits soins pour chaque table. N'hésitez pas, chez Angelo c'est l'assurance d'un bon moment en amoureux, en famille ou entre amis et l'essayer c'est l'adopter pour très longtemps. De plus, les tarifs sont vraiment très abordables. Alors, qu'attendez-vous pour y foncer? Il est plus prudent, tout de même, de réserver. La salle n'est pas immense et les valenciennois apprécient cette adresse!

Repas rapide ce midi, je voulais essayer le Palermo depuis longtemps car semblait bien tourner en terme de fréquentation.J'ai pris une pizza des plus basiques, la Regina. Déception : la pâte est correcte, mais niveau garniture cela n'a vraiment pas été à mon goût. Base tomate qui n'est pas cuisinée, jambon quelconque, fromage (ou préparation fromagère ??) qui sert juste à amener du gras...Le cadre fait vraiment cantine, pas très chaleureux. Par contre le service est empressé, poli, pas de problème là -dessus.

The atmosphere is nice, and one of waiters was friendly. But the supposed to be sommelier was absolutely awful, shewing on his gum, taking the wine glasses to fill them... The appetizer, aubergine parmigiana was still cold, and the main was beef with pasta pesto. The beef was dry and completely cooked (I asked a point), and the pasta was overcooked as well.. The calzone pizza was delicious, way too much, but nice. It was also very cold in the restaurant. So, overall, we payed way too much for the quality of food and the service.

Première visite et pas déçu. Je suis venu manger en vitesse et j'ai pris une pizza.Pas d'attente et une très bonne pizza avec une pâte légère. Excellente. Dommage pas de mousse au chocolat. Très bon accueil et salle agréable.

Having lived in valenciennes for à few years it is à fact that nice and affordable restaurants are very hard to come by.Scala is located on the main square, serves nice though not mindblowing pizzas, but You would think they take pleasure in being so offputting. This is not à view based on an isolated incident. I have been there at least four or five times and every time i really enjoyed the food there while being appalled by the service. Be warned.

Bon petit restaurant italien. Pâte à pizza faite maison,des lasagnes au top. Prix modérés .Restaurant au centre ville mais avec un accueil personnalisé et un service de qualité. Merci au patron

Pris 2 pizzas à emporter,1 margarita et 1 burger. Moi qui ne suis pas très pizza en général, je me suis régalée car la pizza était très bonne( pâte légère et garniture top avec une mozza de bufflonne qui a du goût!!) et pas du tout écoeurante ni bourrative comme dans certains restos. Bref je recommande !!

Stopped in Valenciennes on drive back to UK. This restaurant was rated 1 in the area on tripadvisor so gave it a go. It is a little out of town and really is little more than a take away with half a dozen tables or so. It doesn't really look like a #1 restaurant, more like a place the owners friends have rated well, but the food (we had pizza and pasta) was generously sized and very tasty. Service was very good, drinks were very good and the owner was happy for our young son to watch him make the pizzas and place them into what looks like a good wood fired pizza oven (not that i am an expert on what makes a good oven other than what comes out of it).Very unassuming but very good.
