Every course at this restaurant was full of flavours that complemented each other. The starter of salmon with a horseradish cream on crushed biscuit was delicious as was the main course of haddock meuniere. The vegetables that arrived with the main course were interesting with spices and herbs that perfectly blended with the entire plate. Desert trolley offered good choice. Can recommend.

Far and away the best restaurant in Millau we found on our travels. Tremendous service by the busy busy staff. Great location on one of the main squares. Interesting choices. We had butternut squash soup, terrains, gravalax, flank steak, raw tuna and pasta and beef in red wine sauce. All superb.

Returning from a long journey of more than fifteen years on islands overseas, after Estanco Mamoudzou on the island of Mayotte and Saint-Pierre on the island of Reunion, I decided I moved to Millau at the foot of this magnificent viaduct on the lands of A
Our friend recommended Estanco for us after several visits - we had high expectations. The service was excellent, very kind and relaxed at the same time. Atmosphere - good. Samosas as a starter - very tasty. But unfortunately main course, mixed fish food portion, was a disappointment. It was lacking freshness and wasn't tasty. Ingredients good. Thats why 3 for the meal. The wine list looked very good, as well as the menu. And yes. We will give them another chance.

Restaurant and Café / non stop service : salads, toasts sandwiches, drinks, ice-creams cocktails,
By chance, we chose to eat lunch at Cafetino in Millau. We selected the formule dolce from the menu, which it said included a tostini sandwich, side salad, soft drink and desert. When the generously portioned meal arrived there was also a bowl of soup - all for 14.50â¬. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and also the pleasant service. We would be happy to eat lunch there again.

We had a very nice meal at the restaurant Le Vin et 1. Outdoor terrasse with excellent view over the river and valley. Good service and food was nice. We had the Magret de Canard which was a very good choice. We staid at the campsite by the river and walked up to the village. Recommended to have a nice view to the mountains surrounding the river Tarn.

In French you say "Service a la Portuguese" which means Portugese style service. There's plenty, in big platters, it's absolutely delicious and authentic. It's cheap and I wish I could go back tomorrow!!! I had the local Paté(terrine paysanne) which is put on the table in the big ceramic pot is was cooked in. You help yourself to how ever much you feel like and likewise with the homemade cornichons. The it is passed on to the next client. CAN IT GET ANYMORE LOCAL? It was just delicious! For the love of God you MUST try the local aperitif made by Father Vergely (the owning family) called "Joli Coing" it is a Quince liquer served on ice.... YUMMY!!! I bought a whole case to take home in the car.

I was told they catered for vegetarians but the main course was a joke,5 x 2⬠sized dollops of puréed swede (one in each corner and one in the middle of the square plate) with a tiny carrot on top for â¬30 !!!!!!!

Excellent room with Zircon I recall. I do not know how many rooms they have but ours was up some steps from the outside dining area with fields in the back. The price was reasonable and we ate at the restaurant both evenings of our stay and the food was good and reasonable. We tried a very acceptable local wine as suggested and it was acceptable if a little pricey. This pace is out in the country and nice and quiet. We would return.

I have been to other top seeded restaurants in small French villages, and have been disappointed. Not with LâAlicanta. This was a professionally run restaurant with an excellent selection of courses. I had an outstanding appetizer of some apple concoction, followed by a very tasty cod main course. I can highly recommend this restaurant
