This place is simply the best BQ I have had on this side of the pond. Hands down. Everything served at the Bootgrill (and I have tried pretty much everything!) is lovingly prepared and cooked by Thierry. You can feel the passion in the food. I mean, octopus and pickled onions, scallops grilled int he shell, grilled lobster tail and potatoes, and of course, the tomahawk... The food is great, and the service and atmosphere are a solid YES! There is an air of friendly banter throughout the dining area, as good food and good humour go together like beef and beer! Speaking of beer, a great selection of local and not so local craft beer. Including my favorite, Blue Coast!

Stopped here for a quick lunch after arriving in Vence.We try to avoid non-stop service places but it was late and choices were limited.The charcuterie plate was sensational - My wife loved it.The service was good and the sitting area is pleasant overlooking the square.The house wine was wonderful and the coffee very good.I ordered the 3 Meats with BBQ sauce.The meats were quality cuts but arrived cold and the chop over seasoned. The chop also looked like it had been sitting for a while possibly reheated.Average meal but it filled the gap.
