Last year we had dinner here for the first time. My parents in law live just around the corner and we decided to try out the restaurant and were not dissapointed. The scenery ( great outside terrace) is very nice. The hosts friendly and most important fantastic food. The owners are very passionate about their restaurant. Sometimes they accept no more reservations just to make sure to give the best service. I cannot believe this restaurant is not higher rated in Capbretons restaurant list. Maybe it's because they just opened last year? Anyway we are very much looking forward to be visiting again this summer (if the restaurant is not fully booked!)

At Le fou a pieds rouges, Restaurant in Capbreton, our menu is made out of fresh products, and based on the season. Everything, from appetizers to desserts, is made in house.

This is simply a quality place for good food. Seating ,in this smaller type of restaurant, is either indoors or, weather permitting, outside.The menu is not extensive but everything on it cooked with precision and a genuine fondness, by the chef, for satisfying the customer. In all the restaurants we have dined at throughout Europe, this place qualifies as one of the best encountered for fish. He is a maestro.Expertly run by a husband (chef) and wife team, they have provided an excellent dining facility which meets every criteria you would hope for when going out for a meal. Humbly suggest that you always book ahead.

Went here twice, in the week we stayed at Labenne I'Ocean. Both meals were great. Had the rabbit citronella the first time, which was very nice, and Magret (duck breast) with a rockfort sauce served with veg and a jacket potatoe with garlic butter. I can honestly say that this was probably one of the best meals i have ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, especially the lady owner,who asked both times if there was anything she could do to improve our next visit, ie would it be helpfull to include English on menu etc.Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well done !!
