At Angieâs, youâll find burgers, dogs, tex-mex style tortillas, fish & chips, salads, and throw in a range of probably unhealthy, but heavenly deserts such as milk-shakes, donuts, muffins, and cheesecake imported directly from the USâ¦Among your burgers, select between classic beef (French beef, a rich and juicy patty done just so, with all the works â yummy!), crispy chicken or tasty fish. Burges and Dogs come with freshly made fries, thick and tasty, just the way I like them. Add an ice-cold Texan Lone Star in a frosted glasâ¦And yes, they do have a selection for vegetarians, which is not always the case in a burger place!The atmosphere in Angieâs Burger is just great. Yes, you are still in the heart of the Morvan, but once you walk through the doors of Angieâs, you are teleported into a small US town in the late fifties. The decor s as authentic Diner as they get, complete with paintbrush wall art (yes, there are pink Cadillacs), billiards, darts, and a lounge area where you can just hang out and relax.The food by itself would justify four bullets. The reason why I rate Angie's at five bullets are the owners, two young ladies who have had the courage to make their lifeâs dream come true and to start an authentic American diner in the heart of France in April 2017! This is exactly what Chateau-Chinon was lacking. Is Angieâs typical. No, it is not, but it is necessary to add to the diversity and the variety of culinary experiences in Chateau-Chinon and its surroundings. This is a place to hang out, enjoy a good meal, or just a coffee and a cheese cake.

This small local middle eastern cafe/ restaurant was very well patronised by local people, as well as travellers, the evening we were there. Meals are substantial, with a choice from Turkish kebabs through Italian pizzas. The host was very attentive and friendly.

Amateurs de pizzas, voici une bonne adresse dans le coin même si le cadre (bus aménagé) sort de l ordinaire. Le patron est passionné par la cuisine et l on s en rend compte : il y a un véritable souci de bien faire et les plats sont réalisés à partir de produits frais.
