this most appealing looking cafe/brasserie/tabac made a nice lunch stop. With an unexpected outside seating area at the rear. The service was friendly and prompt and the bavette (a thin steak) was only 9⬠and good quality. If you want grand cuisine, then go elsewhere, but for an inexpensive meal with local atmosphere, I thought it great and will keep it in mind for the future. There was parking nearly also.

we arrived very tired after a rough crossing to Roscoff and even though it was only just after midday our room was available immediately. And it certainly was a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the Abbey which was lit up at night. Dinner was not available in the hotel on Sunday nights so we had to forage elsewhere. The hotel was very pleasant, lovely staff, quiet rooms beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit, fresh juices, chilled water, lovely bread and croissants , ham and cheese. Just very good. Car parking @ â¬10 a night very well worth it. Definitely would stay there again. Recommend it.

Cuisine simple, tout est frais et fait sur place . Pleins de saveurs et accompagné d'un grand choix de très bons vins ... de belles découvertes comme le vin argentin !La planche proposée en accompagnement d'un verre est très copieuse !

Had dinner here while on a visit to Le Mans and staying in Sable sur Surthe. They had a lot of choice with very friendly staff. In the end, I went for the lamb - which was absolutely delicious.

The crepes here are to die for. A hole in the wall place where magic happens. We tried savoury galettes and sweet crepes and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the imaginative pairings.The staff of two, one serving and the other behind the stove were friendly and efficient.Prices were very reasonable for the quality.A bonus was the vintage French music playing, Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.

This creperie is just charming...the interior is warm and the attention to detail and color (dark mahogany and beige with lemony green highlights that just pop) is both fresh and tasteful. The food shows and equal attention to detail, and the service was welcoming and speedy. Not to be missed if you're staying at Solesmes - or even just biking/hiking through! Come early during their open hours in the evening (I didn't have the chance to check the affluence at lunch) if you want a spot!

We went with friends for lunch. All six of us had a great meal. we had the plat de jour which was excellent value for money. We would certainly return if ever in the area.
