Nice place to rest the legs mid or apres-ski. Food is average and service is VERY slow but I guess that's because they're very busy. Definitely recommend stopping off here for a refuel. It's a nice sun-trap too for those who like to catch a few extra rays!

PS Les bountys hummmmmmmmm.

I feel bad for all the 5-star reviews I've given...because I need another star for this place. We were in Saint-Véran for 3 nights...and we ended up eating here every night! ...as we left the first night, the chef picked out the fish he was going to cook for us the next night...and the 3rd night we have the best risotto of of lives (with shaved white truffle...I'm not making this up!!)....we felt like royalty. The man that runs the place (and also serves the tables) was a professional...it was amazing to watch him work. He is only with the restaurant for the season, then back to his home in Provence. Matt and Sandy wish him the best....Shalom!

We loved this. Cozy, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated to be both chic and comfortable, fab music, roaring fire, simple menu excellently executed. Focal point is galettes and crepes and cider but it’s very upmarket for a galetterie! Such lovely people who run it. Their little daughter came wandering through the restaurant in her dressing gown at one point. Very cute. All in all one of my favourite dining experiences. Simple, comfortable and delicious, with a very welcoming feeling. Can’t wait to visit again!
