I start my review with the positive things. The place is charming, well decorated, and the food is very good. The restaurant has potential for being another excellent restaurant in the highly competitive Lille market. On the downside, there are plenty of room for improvement. For example, we waited almost one hour to get our meal, we have to ask one of the waiters for our order. We were so hungry that we did not take our time to enjoy the main course. Furthermore, we lost our appetite for a dessert after waiting so much. No apologies for the waiting time were provided. The menu is minimal, almost no explanation. The offer is limited to three dishes and prices scale fast. The quality of the service does not match the price range and the quality of the food served. The best part of our meal was the wine, which was the only thing we could properly enjoy.

taken here by my French friends who do like quality food. A very interesting place. It is mainly downstairs, it has an extensive beer menu (remember you are in the beer drinking part of France) and an extensive whiskey menu!The food is not too expensive, despite other comments on TA, especially for the size of the portions. There are also many regional specialities.If you are in the area use it. Closed Sunday

Le resto était pris d'assaut car celui d'à côté était fermé exceptionnellement, d'où une certaine lenteur dans le service... Mais, le côte de boeuf de 420 grs en promo à 17.90⬠est un must ! je recommande absolument. Idem pour la coupe de saison. Je reviendrais avec plaisir, la viande était excellente !

Accueil agréable, et ambiance décontractée. Bruit de salle apparemment bien maitrisée. Repas sympa et frites bonnes et quantité suffisante. La viande est servie au désir des clients, et elle est de bonne qualité. Un délai normal est entre la commande et le service, qui fût agréable et souriant. This wonderful, 'sympatheque' bistro is a real jewel! I had lunch there recently with a business friend who knows it well. Everything is outstanding here, the three course lunch formula, and although I'm not a great beer drinker, they have a very good selection indeed.The service is irreproachable and I had a nice chat with the owner about local accommodation as, unfortunately, this restaurant does not have rooms. But I'll be back anyway!

Stopped here for a meal, sat outside as the weather lovely, a lovely atmosphere, We had the steak and chips, cooked to perfection, the chips arrived in a little metal chip pan, also it came with salad, thought the salad could have had a bit more of a wash. Not a lot of choice of draught beers but had ruby leffe which was beautifully chilled. Réservation faite ce matin pour midi, une fois franchi la porte pas mal de monde...Une seule serveuse EMILIE, je crains un service long et désordonné... Et bien non, celle-ci avec le patron VALENTIN, prennent la commande rapidement avec un service impeccable sans bâcler et n'oubliant rien au passage!!!Le repas, que dire, tout est dans le titre, une brasserie? non mieux que la plupart des restos!!!Nickel sur les plats et desserts!!! Même le pain est bon!!! Une incroyable surprise au quelle ne nous attendions pas!!!Félicitations!!!

Nice place in a quiet corner of Seclin. More of a Bistro than a restaurant. A short menu with some interesting offers Fois gras maison was really good. For the main dish Mrs T chose veal kidneys and pronounced them delicious. I went for the Gourmet burger and rather regretted it. I make better bread myself and the meat could have been better. Unusually for France I found it rather overcooked. I pronounced it just OK. Desserts were good but not exceptional. The wine was really expensive and not particularly memorable.

On a lovely summer evening, a nice place to eat al fresco and be served with delicious galettes, somewhat different from those usually offered at these places. Beware of the upselling owner/ server, a really pleasant man. He managed to get us to take the smoked salmon starter which we did not regret for one moment, but the wine he recommended was quite ordinary and overprice by at least 50%.
