Dine here twice during the month we spent in Beaune and both times were a wonderful dining experience. This small restaurant is run entirely by the husband and wife owners, he the chef, she serving the customers, and they both do a great job. The food, the wine, the service - if you want a great, Burgundy dinner, you will find it here.

We celebrated our friends birthday with a party of 10 last night. We were treated like family and the owner, Alberto, treated us to such amazing Italian food, from appetizers to desserts! The highlight was the pasta dish cooked table side in a large wheel of parmigiana/Romano cheese. Everything we ate was delicious and we all agreed that this was one of our top dining experiences! We highly recommend this restaurant.

The Ãcusson bills itself as one of the best restaurants in Beaune. Located just outside the historic centre it competes with a large selection of venues, mainly aimed at the large and continually changing tourist population.The Ãcusson delivers on food and service. The menus are not cheap, ranging from 50-90⬠for dinner, but every dish is well prepared and presented. Service is very attentive and caring and the wine reasonably priced (40â¬+ for a decent bottle).If there is a fault to be found with this venue it is the decoration and ambience, which is rather plain and almost clinical. It lacks the grandeur and style of other places in the area, so that put a slight dampener on the evening.Handily it is one of the few good restaurants open on Monday evenings.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant a year ago. We decided to have another dinner again during our return visit to Beaune. Surprisingly, tables here are set with nice distance, not like Paris bistros. The menu is a simple offering with 3 course dinner and moderately priced. The chef uses the fresh local ingredients. They only accept guests with the reservations.

We dined here, as it seemed did most of the people, on the recommendation of our hotel and the other hotel nearby. We got into town pretty late in the afternoon and figured a short walk to dinner would be easy. It was just kind of a weird experience. All the guests were seated on the terrace, arriving at close to the same times and it was extremely hot. Unfortunately, the weather patterns are unpredictable and along with the heat, there were many, many flies. It appeared there were just three people working approximately 11 tables. The chef (creating magic with a wood burning oven), maybe his wife and another younger woman so it was a very leisurely dinner. The decor was eclectic? Various statues, shrubs, hanging plants, chipped dinnerware and glasses, all amongst wrought iron tables and chairs with thin pads. About half the tables were in the direct sun for a good half hour but after the sun went down, it was more pleasant. All this aside, the food was super good and a terrific value. Along with a nice wine selection, they have well drinks. My husband and I had different fish and they were both really good as were the soufflés. The time between courses was filled with neighbor tables conversing with each other so there is a conviviality that is rare in most restaurants. At the end of our meal, we were told the credit card reader was no longer working and we would be required to pay in cash! Fortunately, it wasnât too expensive and I could run back to our nearby room to get additional cash! With SO many other options in nearby Beaune, we would probably recommend only for the convenience if you are staying nearby.

we have been here several times before but now it has changed. More modern interior with chairs and lamps and different ambiance. Food was nothing special considering the price - duck overcooked, fish bland, waiting staff seemed disorganised. We dined here on a Monday evening with the outside area tables full apart from a two person table and the staff just could not cope. It took 20 minutes to be given a menu and another 15 minutes to have our order taken, it seemed that the two ladies waiting tables could only cope with one thing at a time. We had chosen a 4 course set menu to include cheese and had to remind the the staff it also included dessert when we were asked if we wanted a dessert. At one point a staff member stood having a loud conversation with diners, who they obviously knew, for at least 10 minutes which was very intrusive and lacking in consideration for other customers. The term 'a shambles' comes to mind! This was very disappointing for us as we regularly stay in Levernois and were looking to expand our choice of local restaurants, and with such a wonderful setting it could be so much better.bonjour madame,monsieur, nous sommes désolé et il est vrai que nous avons eu ce soir là un vrai désordre, ce qui, n'est pas notre façon de procéder, que s'est il passé nous aussi nous avons vu que nous étions débordé et nous comprenons votre avis, le téléphone a beaucoup sonne et nous n'arrivions plus à répondre aux exigences de nos clients, nous avons eu le jour dit, effectivement des amis qui sont venus diner ce qui explique que souvent nous prenons un peu de temps avec eux, merci toutefois de nous avoir octroyer 3 points verts nous nous excusons encore une fois et espérons que vous ne resterez pas sur une mauvaise impression de notre service, et que vous reviendrez peut être un petit coup de fatigue et tout bascule.... croyez nous ceci est sincère nous sommes vraiment desoles ce n'est pas notre facon d'etre.. famille chirol.

My husband and I were lucky to secure a lunch reservation at Le Bistrot, as it is a very popular summer spot with the local French population. And after our lunch, we understand why: Exquisite food matched with superb service. And a great selection of Burgundy wines to complement the meal. Despite being very busy; Our server took extra time to explain the menu and suggest various items. (The veal was excellent paired with a bottle of Pernand-Vergelesses). If I lived in Burgundy, Iâd be eating here every week!

It was my first time visiting Beaune of Burgundy on my way driving to Paris airport. I didnât know where to go hence asked Centurion concierge to make recommendations on the restaurants and they gave me two to choose from. This one is Gourmet Restaurant of Levernois hotel which is part of Relais & Chateaux collection.The environment is truly amazing. Greens everywhere. Grass smells. And the service is wonderful. Most surprising is the food. It is truly the essence of fine French gourmet. What a pity I donât eat cheese. Otherwise you should really take a look at the plate to choose from. I am comfortable to say this restaurant is by far the very best I had in Europe. We took Gourmet menu. Next time we come, we shall go for the surprising menu. That got me all interested.
