Where to start? Love that the crowd is controlled outside...but might not be fun on a winter's night! Entering via the basement door adds to the prohibition ambiance. Only waited a few mins and was quickly seated. Damien, excelled as our wait person. His full...MoreThank you so much!

A family owned and operated establishment that has been around for over 25 years, yet has maintained it's authentic, cozy, and homely feel. It's a small, diner-like cafe with an old fashioned style to it. The food is prepared and cooked by the owner, Moe Kamandy. Although hidden, there's a patio away from all the street noise where Moe plants his colorful flowers, making for a great place to relax and enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee on a summer morning.
On Thursdays the Restaurant has great specials. I had the Rice, Chicken Stew, Creamed Spinach, Salad and Garlic Bread special. It was TERRIFIC! My husband had a traditional Omelet with hash browns and a pancake. The staff was very friendly and checked on us multiple times. The owner also checked in several times to make sure our food and service was excellent. Take a chance to try something off College Avenue and a little walk down Mountain Avenue. It will be well worth your time.

Family owned Authentic Afghan restaurant offering uniquely spiced kabobs and many other Afghan specialties. Great vegetarian and gluten free options.
I tried Maza Kabob on the recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The first thing that you notice is how spotlessly clean the entire restaurant is! The food was very good and reasonably priced too. While I didn't meet the owners, it was clear that they take great pride in their restaurant and their food!

We chose The Big Night Out so we didn't have to make too many choices..preselected menu that worked well for our first time visit. We had specialty cocktails..a classic margarita and strawberry seduction cocktail and wine that was fabulous! We had never fondued before so what a treat watching Sarah prepare the fondue pot with the cheese and ingredients prior to our dipping yummy vegies, fruit, bread, pickles and meats into it....then a bacon and bleu spinach salad was brought out..followed by our 3rd course, the entree of meats..finally our chocolate dessert, flaming turtle..see photo...chocolates, fruits, marshmallows, cheesecake, 2 mini creampuffs, cookies, Whew! Yum! Thank you Mgr Alex..you ROCK! and server Sarah H...you also ROCK..a real credit to your profession guys..Merry Christmas..see you in a couple/three months!!

Seriously delicious. Fresh pastrami corn beef hash with 2 eggs over medium and corn tortillas. A glass of orange led the most magnificent breakfast I a really long time. Add to that a wonderful wait staff and I just found my new favorite bfast joint. Too bad we live in Fort Lauderdale!!!

We have been here three months ago and were disappointed. We thought we give the place another try.
Meats were good (I love the bacon wrapped dates and the top sirloin). Waiters had been attentive and George did a great job as our waiter.
The appetizer and salad bar has a few very good things, such as a their chimicurri, but I did not fancy the Caesar salad as the dressing was too much on the citrus side.
The sides, specifically the queso bread balls are outstanding.
Thanks for having us again

Named "Best Restaurant in 2011", Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar has taken Fort Collins by storm. Serving up the freshest, most sustainable seafood alongside the highest quality, farm-fresh local produce, Jax has quickly become an Old Town favorite. Jax happy hour never disappoints, with the ever-lively Oyster Bar and a selection of locally brewed craft beers & handcrafted cocktails. With so much fresh fish, they ought to change the city's name to "Port" Collins!
Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. It is so good and so popular that you really need a reservation, even for the 4:00 opening. Very fresh seafood with a happy hour selection of smaller plates. I particularly like eating a number of different types of seafood (several oysters, fresh crab, peel and eat shrimp, etc.) at lower prices for smaller quantities since I leave in a rural area and only get good fresh seafood when I travel to a larger town. This menu lets me sample a number of wonderful things. The main dishes are great, too, including fabulous halibut, beautifully cooked and presented. Even the hamburger is good. The waitstaff is the best in Fort Collins and makes the entire experience wonderful. Just little things: my husband didn't want the full arrangement of vegetables so the waiter had the chef make just carrots since he heard us talking that carrots are good. Wonderful meal.

Ordered several different dishes on a Saturday evening. Doors opened at 5pm. Not too busy, but as the hour passed it defiantly picked up. Total price was about $100. Great service and great quality of food. Attached are a few photos.
