Wonderful family run hotel
Reviewed By William PHere on a family skiing holiday with my family, friends and grandchildren. We had a wonderful time and everyone was so friendly. The hotels is owned and run by Illaria and her family and they were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional and every request for off menu items for the children were accommodated. There is something very special about a family run hotel which is impossible to copy in a corporate environment. We can't wait to return next year

Few kilometers from Bergamo and Milan, in the heart of the Alps Orobie, we are the ideal solution for those who want to relax away from the bustle of the city, both for young people looking to sports and outdoor life. We offer modern and comfortable apartments furnished in a warm, traditional Alpine style. Types are: flats, apartments, lofts or apartments with loft. All have a kitchen, bathroom, satellite TV, WI-FI, etc.. Reservations can be monthly, weekly, or just for the weekend. You can choose within half/full board threatment or room only. Inside the structure there is also the K2 restaurant, present in all best national food guides and winner of the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. You will have the chance to sample local dishes and international dishes reinterpreted from the legendary Grandma Sandra and you will be served by staff in traditional dress.
A Great Find!
Reviewed By hanandmikeWe stayed for a week with our three children and were SO well looked after by Gabriella and the team. The apartment we had was reasonably basic but well kitted out and exceptionally clean, beds etc were also made daily as well as complimentary toiletries provided. Transfers were all organised by k2 and were reasonably priced, this took any extra stress out of having to sort independently and calculate timings etc. We went half board which was THE best decision as the food is simply amazing, beautiful cuisine in the evenings, daily specials/recommendations and lovely wine to accompany it along with great service. There is also very little in the way of shops or a supermarket if you were trying to self cater. We would thoroughly recommend staying at K2 and hope to return next year. During our stay the weather was exceptionally warm so the ice rink was not always open but this was an added bonus as children got to enjoy it a couple of times, and this is also free of charge to k2 residents.

Reviewed By 77armenaVery nice hotel run by family close to ski slopes. Hotel staff were so nice and helpful and made our stay very memorable. The food in the restaurant was just incredible. I strongly recommend this hotel for a stay in Foppolo.

Reviewed By Jan BStumbled upon an apperitivo there while on a walk around Foppolo. Were quite surprised as from the outside place doesn't look too attractive or entertaining. Despite that we had quite a decent time there with live dj music and a nice selection of local snacks available on bar.

Ristretto ma Confortevole
Reviewed By Ivan SSi tratta, nel nostro caso (due adulti ed una bimba), di un monolocale strutturato per ospitare fino a 4 persone, con letti a castello, a scomparsa (similari ai letti dei vagoni Cuccette) e un divano letto per due persone. Vi è tutto quello che occorre per pranzare (stoviglie, pentole, piano cottura elettrico 4 fuochi, forno a microonde, moka....ecc...). Sono presenti inoltre, un televisore, asciugacapelli, stufette elettriche una in bagno e l'altra nel Locale soggiorno-dormitorio (un po' rumorose), connessione wi-fi gratuita. Viene dotato di biancheria strapulita sia da letto che da bagno. Come da titolo, ripeto, è un po' strettino ma ultraconfortevole. Chi fa anche la differenza è il Sig.Alessandro, veramente una persona gentilissima e disponibilissima. Il tutto, a nostro parere, molto valido.

La posizione è ottima, la casa ha qualche pecca
Reviewed By Silvia CLa posizione è fantastica: direttamente sulle piste. Comodissimo. Ma bisogna tenere conto che l'unica porta finestra ha i serramenti che fanno entrare spifferi consistenti. Anche alzando i termosifoni la casa risulta così spesso fredda. Considerando che di notte esternamente ci sono -7 gradi non é piacevole. I letti sono i molto vicini alla finestra. Inoltre il bagno avrebbe bisogno di essere rimodernato. E' una casa con grandissime potenzialità ma non sono tutte espresse allo stato attuale.
