Things to do in Steinhatchee
10 of us were at Kathy's. The outside are was really nice. Lots of fans and plenty of room for our group. We all had something different to eat and everyone enjoyed their choice. We especially liked the music. It was the genre that we like to listen to, Trop Rock. We heard several artists that we listen to often. Overall an enjoyable experience.
They have about 10 flavors at a time. Fresh ingredients. Owners on site willingly let you know exactly what goes into their ice cream. I had the banana pudding ice cream, which was oh so yummy with real bits of vanilla wafers in it. If you have a sweet tooth, you cannot go wrong here folks!

Bar & Resturant overlooking the Steinhatchee River & Gulf of Mexico
Well, it's a bar. couple pool tables and a deck out back. The staff is friendly and fun. There is a full bar and plenty of beers to choose from. It is right across the street from the river so you can get some cool sunset pictures a few steps away. They also serve some food before 6 PM and the burgers are the best in town in my opinion. Nice place to knock down a couple cols ones after a day on the water.

Fun Outdoor dining over the water
After a long day of scalloping we stopped by The Who Dat and service was great. The drinks were strong and affordable. The food was served fast and tasted very fresh. I would recommended the grouper sandwich or shrimp Po Boy. The best part was the fries!! They used a spiralizer for the French fries and the sweet potato fries were waffle fries-yum!! Also, if youâre looking for a spot on the water with an outdoor atmosphere, come here!

I was a walk in. Living overseas, i craved a good old Italian Meatball Sub. Grew up in South Jersey, and Philly still makes the best sandwiches, hands down. Their "sub" was more like a stromboli, a folded pizza. For the price... the best! Just don't call it a SUB! It was excellent. Only downgrading because the name SUB was misleading in my NE culture. Still great food!

I go scalloping annually with a good friend and we were there last Sunday night. Great service and food. Love the salad bar. Bartender makes a solid vodka gimlet. I do wish there were more options for my high maintenance food allergies (I can't eat dairy). But the server has been accommodating both times I have gone. Beautiful scenery as well. Prepare to wait on a Friday or Saturday night, but we went on Sunday and there was no wait.

We had lunch there which is mainly sandwitches. My husband had fried fish and it was delicious. The crab pasta salad was good. I was a little disappointed they didn't have crab cakes.
