My husband and I stopped in for lunch the other day. Nothing fancy. The food was good, but nothing special. Unfortunately our first two choices were not available. But our second choices were fine. Very casual. Décor a bit shabby. But overall, it was fine and beat a fast food lunch.

It is about 25 miles between Cheers and Beers and Okeechobee. Thankfully, the Ridge Market is about half-way for the restroom break, pick up snacks or to get a hot breakfast and lunch.You order and pick up at the counter and clean up after yourself. Its all good food.

Cow Town Café comes with everything I expect from a local café. Great service from both waitresses and cook. You will know both personally by the time you leave and enjoy every minute of your visit. Cow Town Café also gets my vote for the best food on Okeechobee Lake, hands down.
