If you are in the Miami area, north Miami to be exact, stop Baleen Kitchen on Collins Ave. It is the restaurant at the Sole Hotel. The chef uses only the freshest ingredients and and knows how to pair them together for a great dish. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all have great dishes. Huevos rancheros, turkey sandwich and 1/2 roasted chicken are some recommendations. Ask for Violera and Carlos Rafael for your servers. They know what they are doing. The kitchen is very slow but with them, the wait will not feel as long. The prices are also good for the area. Nice find if you are walking the beach and the neighborhood.

My family (5 in total) dined here on Friday 9th August around 6 pm. Flaniganâs is the most popular âDining Outâ venue in this area, does not take reservations.Service is helpful, although some junior staff are inexperienced. The dining area is large, spread across 3 areas, with sports screens all around. Nice atmosphere and not too loud.We enjoyed the huge tray of nachos and onion rings to start ... 2 appetisers are more than enough !! Both were very enjoyable !!We mainly ordered a half-rack of baby rack ribs with either 6 shrimps / chickenwings. These came with fries, BBQ sauce and small portion of coleslaw. The ribs are the House Speciality and are fantastic : meaty, tender, and tasty !!! The burger (10 oz !) is also excellent and great value at $ 9.99. Washed down by a couple of Cold Coronaâs.Service helpful and wait time good. Good value too.Would dine here again and recommend.Only order an appetiser if you have a very large appetite !!!

Located at Trump International on Collins Ave. My wife and i tried the Happy Hour because a very nice hostess employee (Stephaney) of Trump International in the AM told us about this beach side club. Happy Hour is on Friday/Saturday between 6-8PM. Half price appetizers and cocktails are offered. There is a good selection including beer. We tried several appetizers and they were very good. Cooked on lave stones in front of you. Four drinks and three food selection were $55.00 including an 18% tip.

Tony Roma's has been around quite a while. It's more of a family restaurant, casual atmosphere with no reservations necessary. If you like ribs they are very tasty. Good place to meet with friends for drinks and dinner. Centrally located if one is staying in one of the many hotels in Sunny Isles. Noticed a lot of locals there and a lot of children as well. Portions too large for my taste.

Good food but limit menu I.e. mostly fish but the burgers and the tenders were very good too. Also, the grilled chicken and the fish and chips were very tasty. We often got lunch delivered to the beach. The only complaint we had was the French fries. They were shoe string fries that were often âborn againâ and tasteless.

We are always happy to see the Grand Lux while we are travelling. As always, the food was excellent. Sadly, compared to everywhere else we ate in Miami the service was lacking. Everywhere else we ate our water glasses were never empty, our coffee mugs were always full and so forth. Sadly compared to other restaurants in the Miami area, the service at the Grand Lux is a step down.Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it. We're sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with our service during this visit. . IF YOU ARE A CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONAL WHO WORKS AND DINES IN THE SUNNY ISLES AREA DO NOT DINE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Paul the Manager is disrespectful and discriminates against people in boots. After sitting down, ordering, and eating our food outdoors he approached our table and told us we could not dine in his restaurant because we we had dirty boots. We did not. We are Project Managers that work in construction offices. We wear slacks and dress shirts but need to wear boots for safety purposes. Nevertheless we asked were this rule was posted and he said "everyone knows cause it's posted online". Apparently there are other bad reviews from other construction professionals. This individual should not be a manager of a restaurant and if this establishment does in fact have such a rule than it should post it. Too bad that management is so poor because the food is good. I'll never give them my money again.

The boneless wings are so good!! I had the sweet buffalo, which has all the flavor of buffalo without the heat. My husband had other sauces and said they were great. He also had the ribs and said they were very good.Also drinks are all 2 for 1. I had the gummy bear Martini which was very good. He had their pick of Jack. I wish I could have gotten 2 different flavors of martinis to try other ones, but they said they had to be the same drink for the buy one get one.Lots of tvs WITH sound,which is rare for a sports bar anymore.Great stop, will stop here again when in Miami.

this place has become a total hit and miss. used to be fresh food and solid service ie. now it is becoming more of a tourist trap. you never know what you gonna get on your plate, or if your order will be totally screwed by a waiter or messy kitchen, or both... same goes for drink - don't be surprised to receive a cheap house whiskey in your old fashioned after paying for a premium brand one...sad. used to love that place
