A true taste of Italy. Pane e Vino offers gastronomic delights in elegant surroundings in central Liege. Experienced chef and owner Mario Ladanza opened the restaurant in 2009 with the idea of bringing fresh Italian produce direct to customers. He prides himself on using fresh, seasonal products and in line with this, the menu changes weekly. All of the products arrive from his farm in Naples. The restaurant serves delicious Italian food with a choice of multi-course menus (€35 to €65), or an à la carte menu. A daily lunch menu with a starter, main dish and coffee is offered for €25. Pane e Vino has the largest wine cellar in Liege, with 10,000 bottles of Italian wine. Each month it hosts a themed evening pertaining to a particular Italian region, with a special menu comprised of local foods and their accompanying wines. If you find choosing a dish challenging, or simply prefer to be surprised, then the Faccio Io formula is for you. Simply let the chef know of any ingredients you don't like, and Iadanza will choose a selection of shared starters, antipasti and a main dish. Dessert is also included. Faccio-Io costs €45 per person. Maître d'hôtel Karim Hayoun notes that Pane e Vino differs to other Italian restaurants in that it "offers four different menus a week, and fresh food direct from Italy. We aim to be both authentic and innovative in our food." Throughout the year it also serves specialities like lobster, foie gras and truffle.

A very warm welcome in cosy Liège.
Loved the open kitchen, and after sitting down and following the chef's recommendations, it was pleasure on the taste buds all afternoon.
Started off with about 9 different antipasti, followed by great pasta italian style (i.e. full of flavour, simple in ingredients), nice main with crunchy fresh vegetables, 4 different Deserts on 1 plate, cheese board, (pousse) café.... Oh, and not to forget an unbelievable choice of great wines (the wine cave seems to be amazing, residing in a part of the old fortified town walls).
No risk of going home hungry or unsatisfied!

We were there yesterday with friends, I took the risk to book in this restaurant as I could not get feedback from friends...
We had a great time, really nice service with high quality food. We did taste poultry, meat, etc... And all plates were achieving high standards and from starter to dessert you not only get tasty food but you also get quantity... You will not be hungry after your meal!
They also manage to take their time for the customers to like the experience and the atmosphere is also really nice inside! Do not get hung on the outside... The inside is cosy and you feel great there even if it can be a bit noisy when the room is full.
The price is really reasonable... Starter, main and dessert for 39 euros is a real deal and you will be filled...
I highly recommend that place!

Not the best Greek restaurant in Liège but a good one anyway. It tasty and the service is okay. Come for diners on Fridays and Saturdays and they will break plates in front of you. No kidding, it's for the show ;-)

Très bon accueil, et apéro dans le petit salon à l'entrée.
Belle carte des vins, avec d'excellentes bouteilles
Attention à la guinguette du dimanche soir, la carte n'est pas tout à fait pareille que la semaine, mais même si certains plats sont manquants, suivant la complexité, on peut quand même les commander (béarnaise par ex.)
Les plats et le service ont été très bien, de même que la bouteille de Bourgogne, le tout accompagné par du piano, soirée guinguette oblige.
130€ à 4 (entrée + plat + dessert) sans les boissons

une très bonne pate super bien garnie de ce que l'on veut un large éventail de pizza qui sont cuites dans un four à bois.
Il y a une carte de pâtes que je n'ai pas goutés personnellement mais donc j'ai de bon échos.
Elles sont à emportés donc pas de restaurant.
Les places sont limitées pour se garer mais c'est faisable.
Cela faisait des années que l 'on ne prenait plus de pizza la bas.
Nous y avons re goûté par hasard grâce a nos voisins.
Wouaw et bien c'est la que nous allons les cherchers maintenant tres tres agréablement surpris .
Je vous invite a y aller.

L'accueil était très sympa et assez familier.
Il faisait très chaud ,nous avons pu manger sur l'agréable terrasse.
Le repas était bon .
L'endroit mérite un" bien"mais pas un "très bien".
J'y retournerai à l'occasion.

Le cadre est "cosy" et aménagé avec goût . Terrasse agréable et beau mobilier.
L'accueil était un peu "réservé" au début puis plus "cool" durant le reste de la soirée.
La cuisine est savoureuse . Les plats sont cuisinés avec de bons produits. Le foie gras poêlé excellent !,le reste du repas tout autant...
Nous avons passé une agréable soirée et recommandons l'endroit!

J y suis retourné avec des amis, toujours un accueil chaleureux. Les viandes bien préparées ... c était excellent. En rapport avec ma visite précédente , petit bémol les frites .... sèches et j ai un doute sur le "faite maison" . Néanmoins j y retournerais.
