Start every day of your stay on the exclusive Fragipani Island with a breakfast at Republik either continental with fresh juices, wonder fruit, meats etc - or an exclusive beachside à la carte breakfast, - the views are amazing and the picturesque Trou Dâeau Doce Bay is in the distance, here you will experience first hand wonderful Mauritian service and Asian hospitality.Also a great place for a long leisurely lunch whilst gazing across the Indian Ocean, and back again for the wonderful cocktail hour late afternoon on the beach, where Ravi and his team will serve whatever you desire to drink.Dining here at night takes on a total different feel, the palm trees have fabulous colourful lighting, sit back and try and decide what to order, everything is totally delicious and the wine menu is extensive. Saturday night here is BBQ night, where there is a great choice of either BBQ meats/prawns/lobster cooked before your very eyes, plus a DJ with great music.To dine here at night is total paradise brilliant service - wonderful food/wine you never want it to end.

My husband and I stayed at The Residence and had dinner at The Plantation one evening (we dined at other local restaurants on the other nights) and it was absolutely delicious... The setting is just stunning either sitting outside on the beach or inside in the old plantation house. My fillet of beef was cooked to perfection and service was excellent :) Definitely worth a visit :)

We have just had dinner at seasons and it was by far the best meal since we got here. We are staying at the Ambre Hotel and itâs all inclusive and is directly across the road but after reading the reviews we decided to give seasons a go. We are so glad we did. Food was outstanding and the staff were brilliant. If you are looking for a meal which is made from fresh, local, quality ingredients then go here. My partner had the fillet steak and it was unbelievable value and cooked exactly as heâs asked for. We were also given some fantastic veggie samosas as we were waiting for our starters. If you are in Belle Mare you have to go! I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Had dinner there. The service is excellent and the food delicious. This is a fresh fish restaurant, they bring a selection of freshly caught fish on a tray, you choose your fish and they barbecue it for you. Comes with cold slaw and garlic bread. The smoked Marlin salad is delicious.Great friendly service and excellent food. A must if you are in the area. Yum.

The waiters are just lovely but the food is just ok. The curries we had lacked spices and the Dahl was very watery and tasteless. I wished I could give this locally owned place a good review but for £10+ per dish, they need to up their kitchen a lot.

This restaurant was a real find for traditional Mauritian cuisine. It was recommended by staff at our hotel, Shangri-La Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, which is a short car ride away.Located in Trou d'eau Douce, Green Island Beach Restaurant enjoys a nice sea view. The day we visited the establishment, England was playing in the Rugby World Cup and, not surprisingly, the large TV was the centre of attention for a contingent of supporters.The restaurant was clean and exuded an air of hospitality and good customer service. The extensive menu consists of seafood, Mauritanian dishes, poultry, vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine. It has a full bar, WiFi and gluten-free dishes.The attentive and helpful staff provided good service. Our order was delivered piping hot and in quick time. Delicious food. Highly recommended.
