We took our family to lunch here while exploring the lava tubes and warm springs. We had cheeseburgers and I had a Philly cheese stake sandwich. Their French fries were good and they give good portions. Two larges ended up being more than the six of us needed. We ordered a couple hot fudge shakes, pumpkin shake and chocolate banana. The fudge shakes weren't anything special to us, but the pumpkin was really good. We ended up spending almost $60 for lunch, but we did order quite a bit.

Unfortunately I had to return my Tilapia with mashed potatos as they were both luke warm and my wife's breaded steak was on the dry side.Maybe we were just unlucky because the menu does offer a good selection to choose from and we noticed some enticing ice cream desserts. We will return for breakfast, included with our room, and give it another shot.

Costa Vida

We recently ate dinner at the Costa Vida in Fillmore, UT while traveling through town. Having never been to a Costa Vida, we did not know what to expect. Despite the long line, we were able to order and get our food fairly quickly. However, neither one of us were particularly impressed with the food - - especially the green Chile sauce which had a sweet flavor. Not in a hurry to return!

Family run restaurant a great find when there was no other place to eat nearby. Pizza's made fresh and fast with friendly service. Pizzas tasted of a home made dough with many topping to choose from and the half and half topping option a bonus. Don't miss the raspberry cream dessert pizza which was really delicious too!

Burger King

Reviewed By jesse o - Jackson, Wyoming

Now that I see no one else has posted one, I regret I didn't take a photo of the restaurant when I had lunch there yesterday. I was pretty occupied refueling the bus and didn't think to. Burger king experiences are rather standardized. But here's why I give them five stars: there was a nice special of two whopper meals for $10 - appreciated by a bus full. Our 29 people were served rapidly and courteously with smiles. The counter help of the co-business in the building, Conoco, went beyond what most service stations do when a credit card doesn't work at the pump. Usually you're asked, "how much to you want to put in it?" I wanted to fill it. This is a common stand off when fueling which was bypassed when they offered to hold my card until my tank was topped. What a simple yet obvious service!
I was grateful.
We went on our way filled and happy.

Expecting something in the order of a 8-10 oz thick shake, we were dumbfounded to receive a towering huge shake. I wonder if they deliver the extra large by snow plow?! I'm told the burgers were good. I do not recommend the chicken sandwich which is deep fried not grilled. The fries and fry sauce were great. But, the MINI will take you down if you order a meal with it. BTW, the shake was delicious.

Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

Reviewed By sneezenwheez - St. George, Utah

We had the pleasure of eating here twice when a bus of Mainland Chinese tourists was having lunch. There was a sperate buffet of absolutely authentic Chinese food selections for the same price as the usual American buffet choices. The owner times the buffet for Saturday and Monday.
So delicious ...and so different.
funny the Chinese tourists didn't want anything to do with the AMERICAN stuff and the local Fillmore, Utah people wanted. Nothing to do the Chinese food.
So...if you are from Vegas or California and you want the real deal...this is your place.
the regular buffet is also fresh and tasty.
obviously it is not well supported by locals...family run with their little kids running around.
actually this may be the most authentic place in Utah.
enjoy..

Larry's Drive Inn

After a weekend Campout with the in-laws, we stopped at this place for a final goodbye meal. This was a mistake. Runny ice cream shakes, dry in flavorful burgers and expensive onion rings (4.5 for $4.99). Service was slow. We waited a good 45-60 minutes for the food. The service came from people who acted like they didn't want to be there. I would have done better at the Maverik across the street. Avoiding going there again.
