Recently dined at Gramboussa after Reading reviews and being recommended by our proprietor. We had high expectations, but were disappointed. The service was impersonal and average. I had chicken with sage, very tough and dry. My husband had the specialty lamb kleftico baked in phyllo, tasty, but no sides (no veggies or potatoes, just meat). Prices were on the high side compared to other dining establishments in the area. Despite the restaurant appearing popular and busy, we probably would not return.

We tried 3 different seafood dishes and they were all delicious. Very fresh and well coocked/ seasoned. The garden is really nice and view is beautiful. Deffinately recommend for everyone in the area!

Amazing restaurant with a perfect setting and view for the sunset, owned by a very smart person that knows how to welcome clients in his restaurant and please them responding to their wishes. Great and organised service (never seen this in any other restaurant), whatever one eats is fresh and nicely made, great typical Greek dishes, great view for the sunset! Make sure not to miss it, if you go to Falasarna beach! One of the best I tasted in the region of Chania!

Amazing location, we had our dinner enjoying a beautiful sunset, right on the beach. We had a grilled squid that was just great. The marinated sardines and the fried courgettes were super tasty too. The octopus was a bit to tough though. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

We ended up here as the food at our hotel although good wasn't hot. What a find. The staff are excellent the surroundings lovely and the menu extensive. The food and wine couldn't be faulted and the portions were huge. The second time we visited we shared a main course. Nothing was too much trouble even adapting a main course to a starter for my partner as I'm allergic to fish but he loves calamari. They also provide a small dessert of vanilla ice cream dusted with cinnamon with a lovely orange sponge cake and fresh peaches and a small bottle of raki (wow, blows your head off stuff) on the house after each meal. Both nights came to approx €50 inc wine and water. It was well worth it.
Would recommend this place if you in Kissamos.

Staying down the road at Sunset Rooms it was a nice evening for a walk up to Galasia Thea. Always a warm welcome and pleasant atmosphere. We didn't 'over-order' and glad we didn't. There was plenty of food, nicely cooked and all in all, super evening out.

Don't miss the view, the Greek atmosphere and the Cretan Salad! We have been there at lunch and dinner and our favourite dishes were the Grilled Octopus, Yoghurt with milk and the Cretan Salad (all these three dishes were the best we had in Crete). Nice and friendly staff (including the cute puppies!).

We had a really nice dinner at Agarathos: great dakos, delicious bureki, tasty stuffed tomatoes... all the food is very good value for money. The service was perfect and efficient. The restaurant is also located in a very pretty area, just on the way to Balos beach!

A fantastic taverna to stop and eat at on the way back from Falassarna beach.
A family run taverna with fantastic and friendly people. The food was outstanding with generous portions all cooked to a high standard. The oven baked meats were a standout.
All with the most incredible view over the best beach in Greece. Top shelf.
