Easy to hire, excursions on horseback. Pensio La Creu, is located 16 km from the beautiful National Park Aiguestortes i Sant Maurici, ideal for hiking and mountain biking. This property offers free storage for bicycles, motorcycles and ski storage.

Reviewed By OranK90A clean, convenient hotel in a beautiful town, close to many restaurants and pubs, and a short drive to Espot and all the hiking trails. Breakfast is basic. The owner is very caring. We had a pleasant stay.

The host was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom spacious, with a bath. We ate here for three of the four nights we stayed and the complaint we had was that there was too much food! We opted for the daily menu at 18.50 euros, which was teriffic value for three courses, salad, wine, water, bread and coffee!! The dishes were mostly local dishes and were very nice and tasty. All in all an excellent experience

Reviewed By Niall GGreat place to stay. Family run hotel with no frills. Great value for money. Clean room with very comfortable bed. The lady who runs the establishment is always at hand with advice and nothing is too much bother. She is a great cook too so make sure you have dinner here in the evening. Breakfast is very complete and they do a packed lunch if you fancy a picnic while out and about.

Good hotel but an amazing restaurant!
Reviewed By Kristiina83We had the most basic room but it was all we needed. There was enough space fir a couple of nights and we slept very well. It’s easy to do great hikes directly from the hotel and it’s very close to town. Free parking. The best part was the restaurant, however. Absolutely amazing food and wines!!!

Just fine
Reviewed By stendekThe reason to stay at this hotel is that we had bought tickets for a concert to be held in the surrounding area that unfortunately was cancelled. As we had already booked it so we decided to give it a go. The hotel is in the main road at the entrance of the village. As we found out later, it had belonged to another enterprise but a couple of years ago a new management took over it. The building needs some coats of modernisation to compete with another not far from this one. Our room stank when we got in, probably because it hadn't been used for a while and the bathroom had an offensive odor that took three days to disappear. The room had a balcony which faced the road and it had a wardrobe with a built-in safe. Breakfast was all right but flies loved to hang around the meal looking for some food. The manageress, Maite, is a kind person with a constant smile on her face. The problem is that she is also the manageress of another hostel opposite the road and she constantly moves from one place to another giving the sensation that you never know when or where you can talk to her. We had a lunch in the hostel and it was quite good. So, if you are not looking for something special, this hotel or its sibling Hostal Vall d'Aneu, is a good place to stay

Great little place
Reviewed By Jennings1980The room was spacious and well designed with a large bed and cleaned well. The entrance, lobby and breakfast area are designed well in a very homely and arty style which we really liked. The location is next to the pedestrian centre of the village and a short walk away from many bars and restaurants. If you are here for walking there is also a walking path up to the hills that starts right up the lane beside the B&B. The breakfast was also very nice. The only minor negative would be noise from neighboring rooms but this is almost always the case in smaller establishments in my experience so not a big issue, plus it was not excessive.
