Estado de Mexico, Mexico Food Guide: 5 Barbecue food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Amecameca

Reviews on Barbecue food in Amecameca, Estado de Mexico, Mexico. Amecameca (formally Amecameca de Juárez) is a town and municipality located in the eastern panhandle of Mexico State between Mexico City and the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanos of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is located on federal highway 115 which leads to Cuautla, which is called the Volcano Route (Ruta de los Volcanes). This area is popular with weekend visitors from Mexico City, Puebla and Morelos to enjoy the scenery of the mountains, eat local foods, visit the Sanctuary of the Señor del Sacromonte, the Panoaya Hacienda and other attractions. However, when Popocatépetl is active, tourism here drops dramatically. The area receives a large number of visitors during the annual Carnival/Festival del Señor del Sacromonte, which extends over the week containing Ash Wednesday and is considered to be one of the most important festivals in Mexico State.

La vicenta is in Santa Fe. Great taste of meat all around, the special meat bends for hamburgers, the cuts and special meat dishes are really great, juicy and tender. Service was spectacular, Orlando and Victor making sure we were happy and things were good at our table. Sauces, hand made tortillas right out of the comal...yummy. We ordered the roasted in open fire artichokes, tunafish (stun enterrado), great lentil soup and amazing beef broth. I was disappointed with the smoked guacamole, it sounded different, yet when we tasted it was just normal guacamole. The steak AL TRAPO was exceedingly amazing, smoke flavor, burned right on the coal...covered in a salted cloth. Sooo good. Wine choices are great. We were not happy at all with the burger bread... better your bread baking skills please, bread crumbled too much and it was hard to eat the burger, the meat was not enjoyable with the burger falling out all over th pace, and the baguette bread also terrible and dry. (BETTER YOUR BREAD MAKING PLEASE!!!!!).THE CHOCOLATE CAKE WAS GREATTTT.Overall, a great steakhouse with amazing tasting steak dishes and tacos.Hi FoodieChefDinaThanks for reviewing us!We'll share your thoughts about your food experience, we look forward on serving you very soon!
