Bernie's is easy to find in Montgomery Center, heck everything is easy to find there! We had food with farm fresh ingredients and it was served promptly and hot as it should be

Hi this restaurant claimed to have some 'Mexican' dishes and when I ordered a fish burrito I was disgusted by the ''salsa'' that was actually made with canned tomatoes. That is NOT how you make salsa!
The fries weren't very good either. I'ts too bad there doesn't seem to be much else around there. Will not be back.

Good times. Huge Creamies for great prices. The food is decent, but you wouldn't go there for food, just creamies and some mini golf with kids...maybe a pick up game of basketball. There is also an enclosed area with large animals....Alpaca? I don't remember, but little kids will enjoy it. On a late spring night you might find a bunch of Little League teams scarfing cones with their team. All is welcome! Do go and have a try!

The Black Lantern Inn has been welcoming travelers and diners since 1803. We are proud to partner with local farmers to serve the freshest meats, cheeses, and produce. We offer a dining experience where couples can enjoy a special night out with filet and a bottle of wine while nearby outdoor enthusiasts unwind with mac and cheese after a day on the slopes or in the woods.
We always enjoy going to the Black Lantern for dinner. It is one of Northern Vermont's better little restaurants. Great bed and breakfast too. Very friendly staff and a wonderful pub to meet up with the locals! Tonight's seafood bake was delicious and a great Carmel ice cream desert!

The restaurant has a lovely, warm feeling with various woods on the ceiling, floors and walls. There was a large party of 10 the night we dined here and another table of two. We chose to sit at the bar where the bartender/server, Brielle, was working full-out. We enjoyed a couple of perfectly made beverages then ordered our dinner. Hubby chose the meaty, tender Lobster BLT—a fancy Lobster roll with bacon—which he said was as good as the ones he had in Maine. I ordered the Venison bangers and mash—two venison sausages (made locally at a deer farm nearby). The venison had just the right amount of spices but the two were too much to eat. The mash was delicious! On this particular night, the owner and Brielle were training another waiter/bartender so service was a bit slow. However, we were in no hurry and enjoyed our meal and the conversations with the staff.

Joined a winter indoor golf league this year, and went to the Dairy Center for the first time Sunday; What a great place! There are bowling lanes, a restaurant, a virtual game room that includes two golf machines; or for the kids birthday parties they can become baseball machines, hockey machines, alien dodge ball; and many more. There are pool tables, pin ball machines, basketball shooting machines, skee ball...a great big arcade all for fun. The service and the staff are the best! Had a fantastic meal while playing golf from their outstanding restaurant and a few drinks from the lounge to complete the visit. Glad I get to go back every week.

We were cycling around Vermont and stumbled upon this small shop. We returned two more times. Coffee was delicious, lots of cookies, and sweets. The owner was delightful and seemed to have a loyal following of coffee fans. We met other cyclists on the rail trail and told them of this coffee shop. Returning to our vehicle our cycle buddies had left a note thanking us for the heads up for this coffee shop as they too had stopped by and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stopped for a quick bite while on the road. The place was basically empty (one other table). There were 4 employees there....nobody greeted us or served us for a good 15 minutes after we sat down. The employees were all talking amongst themselves.
I was getting close to walking out. Once we were served the food was good...but pricey.
Not sure that I will go back.

Enosburg Falls isn't quite a gastronomical gateway in VT so each restaurant can be an adventure. I go here once a week, this little family owned and operated restaurant has great food, super friendly family and inexpensive food. Having taken food home and eaten there, you have to try eating there once, the food is 100% better fresh from the wok.
