I visited this establishment last week on their student night based on a Thursday and describing it as remarkable is an understatement. The staff behind the bar were polite, being very attentive to my rather prolonged orders. Furthermore the DJ,I believe was called Justin, had extraordinary skills that seem to be to be such a rare asset at the moment. His glamorous assistant Dean was also a pleasure to speak to, a rather cheeky chap if I may say so myself. All in all an extraordinary student night, one wouldn’t expect such a vibe in a smaller town. Must have been 400 people in all night!! A must to visit if your in the vicinity!

What an amazing place. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and food that was like something I’ve never had before. Baby chorizo and halloumi skewers and Mushroom bake for starters. Roasted pork belly and Thai chicken skewers for mains. All washed down with a bottle of rose. Thankyou for an amazing evening. The food was out of this world!

Great burgers, fries and slaw. Able to use the Tastecard for 2-4-1 on mains. Also 2-4-1 on cocktails between 5-7pm was great. Would have been a little expensive otherwise. Service from Michael (General Manager) and Rose (Server) was excellent, both were very polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Nice, relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We have visited this restaurant twice. the first, some weeks ago , was to take advantage of the early bird price. the food was great and i recommended the place on that basis.the second visit was recently, and what a disappointment!. the starters were passible , just. the mains however were not. i had a sizzler with gammon and rump steaks. the gammon was fine , the rump steak was overcooked and tough. the chips ( very nice ) and onion rings ( soggy ) were served in cold dishes and went cold quickly as a result. my partner had a sizzler including chicken which was also overcooked and dry and she left most of it. the worst, however, was that our friend had the steak pie on my recommendation from before. it was totally dried out , and inedible. even the waitress noticed as she walked past and brought some gravy to try and liven it up. without success. he left it, and had virtually nothing to eat , having decided not to have a starter.to the waitresses credit they did try to make amends. our friend was offered a free dessert , which he accepted, and his main course was not charged for , but that is not the point. when a restaurant is charging £15 plus for a main course you are entitled to expect it to be cooked properly. our evening out was basically ruined and i doubt we will return.
