We've lost count on the number of times we've eaten here! Bartella's is almost 60 miles from home and eating here is well worth the 120 miles round trip!We've had Easter, Christmas, New Year, Milestone Birthdays, and just ordinary lunches on the way home, yet the service is always excellent, as are the meals, and the camaraderie with Terry, Lorna, Mr Bartella,and the staff make our meals there all the more enjoyable. My only regret that now living in Suffolk and previously living in Chelmsford, we never knew of Bartellas until we moved to Suffolk!We'll be back - again and again and....................Thank you for your lovely review and for rewarding us with 5 stars. We visited this place again for their tasting night and it was just outstanding. New menu is full of flavours and unique dishes! I had king scallops to start with and they were to die for! Guinea fowl beast was cooked to perfection, accompanied with beautiful flavours. I must add service was brilliant too!Thank you ever so much for taking time in writing this wonderful feedback. I cannot wait to share this with my team! We work very hard to deliver the best food and pleasant dining experience for all our guests. The food was good, not amazing but good. Our first waitress was very polite and smiley but the wait time for our drinks was very slow and came out after our food. Whilst halfway through our meal one of the other waitresses very rudely said âdo you want to pay?â And we hadnât even asked for our bill. All in all it was ok. Hi, Thank you for leaving us a review, glad you enjoyed your food, apologies for the delay on your drink, this isn't the norm for us. In regards to service i will speak to those on shift yesterday and give them your feedback. We appreciate all feedback to allow us to give praise when due and build on opportunities also.Hope to see you again soon.
