This part of Northenden Road gets better and better, with an increasing choice of places to go for a drink or a meal. And El Boliche is one of the best ones. The tapas dishes are the specialty here, and a pleasant way to share some dishes and catch up with family or friends. The drinks menu offers some variety, the staff are helpful and efficient, and the whole place has an appealing vibe. The food is fresh and tasty. There’s not a lot of car parking nearby but El Boliche is very handy to the Metro station at Sale.

I visited on the strength of the Trip Advisor reviews and was pleasantly surprised.This is a small restaurant and I'd recommend ringing ahead to reserve.The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is simply lovely.Nicely made Mexican food, good sized portions and great taste.Will definitely come back here again.

We were offered a (dirty) table which hadn’t been cleared as they were obviously very busy..... given we were shown to the table by the lady greeting at the front, we expected someone would be over soon to clear it. Didn’t happen unfortunately. It was slightly amusing that the same lady who offered us that table visited the (now vacant) table next to us and cleared it even making eye contact with myself..... no problem, she’s realised and will be over to clear it very soon and take a drinks order.... nope. Again, it didn’t happen. I cleared the rubbish off our table on to the neighbouring table and placed a drinks order directly at the bar as we were in a bit of a rush. Would have left, but it seemed more effort to leave and find somewhere else than just get our drinks here. Drinks were fantastic. Bar staff very friendly. Maybe just an off day or a particularly lazy staff member looking after our area.
