Our family (2 adults, 2 children aged 7 &11) visited Rico's this evening following a recommendation. The welcome was very warm, with complimentary breadsticks and carrots with dip (lovely traditional Italian dip !).We opted for the 2 course menu at £13.95 a head, starter and main were fantastic, great quality and big portions. The kids were equally catered for with spa bol and a small pizza that was of adult proportions (takeaway box needed for the leftovers).The staff were very friendly and attentive, cannot fault the experience.Would we return ...... most definitely.

Visited on Saturday night, having made a reservation, and had a lovely meal. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful and we both had a fantastic night with lovely food. I chose calamari and a seafood main which was cooked to perfection and came as an ample portion. My partner chose vegetarian dishes and the restaurant were only too happy to accede to her request.Overall highly recommended!

Stumbled across this little gem whilst visiting Blackpool for the illuminations. We were there about 6pm and the place soon got busy. We ordered one vegetarian pizza, one vegan pizza and a children's pizza. We could watch them all being made in front of us and we didn't have to wait long. The pizzas were gorgeous. We then tried the cheesecake of the day.... Wispa!! This was quite possibly the best cheesecake I've ever eaten, it was so good. Service was good, both who were working were really kind and friendly. They have some competition on their hands with Pizza Hut, Pizza Express and Bella Italia close by so go on.... Give this local authentic pizzeria a try. I don't think you will regret it. We will return next year!

Not good at all. Have been here many times over the years but not that often for the last few years. Arrived about 9pm and my wife and I ordered a main course only. I ordered a steak and my wife ordered a seafood medley in batter. The seafood was far too salty. She said it did not taste fresh - she said all she could taste was salt. The steak was not too bad but the sauce was tasteless. There was another problem when we came to pay. They said they had to ring up to take card payments, my card was declined so I had to walk to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash from the same account and then pay them. La Dolche Vita or Amore, whatever they are calling themselves these days have all the signs of a completely failing business. I will be avoiding them indefinitely now.

Just had the best evening since coming to blackpool with my partner Anna. The restaurant is very small so best booking. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Our waiter harry was fantastic very friendly and informative and explained the menu and the specials board recommending certain dishes to us and the owner Leo was very friendly/funny and chatted to all his customers. We got chatting to a local family on the next table and this made our evening even better. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough to anyone who likes Italian cuisine. Large portions great tasting food and very competitively priced. Thanx so much for a lovely memorable night see you again soon.Gary and Anna (liverpool)

Having moved to the area this week, we thought we would call the following evening to save cooking. There weren't many in mid-week when we called, but we enjoyed our meals nevertheless. Being old-hands, if you like, and knowing this restaurant inside out as we have been giving them our business since 2006, we booked for Saturday night. The food has always been very tasty and of generous portions and a very wide choice as well as a good specials board and a good selection of wines too. It was busy last night and sometimes there is a wait to be served, but we don't mind: in fact we welcome it. Staff have always been accommodating and willing. You won't get anybody better than the owner's daughter who kept this restaurant running (along with the others) when Max was doing everything single-handed for a while: a real credit to this eaterie in more ways than one.

Being a person who doesnât eat cheese or pasta I was talked into visiting for a meal. Iâm glad I did. I found many things on the menu that I could happily eat and choose a rib eyed steak which was cooked to perfection. My family also loved their choices and the garlic bread for starter was fresh and very tasty. Service was top class and friendly. Will certainly visit again.
