A gem just off the seafront. We offer, arguably, the best coffee in Southsea, loose leaf teas, home made cakes, and our ever changing breakfast & lunch menu. You can also pop in just for our retail bread, tea & coffee, or the Graf & art supplies. We are d

So we had read the reviews and thought we’d try this out.We managed to sit outside in the sunshine and ordered a breakfast.Well we weren’t disappointed, the sausages were truly amazing, great mushrooms, choice of breads, egg bacon and tomatoes.Had a pot of tea and a coffee as well.Very polite staff, good service, reasonable prices.Easy to miss this little gem but give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We visited Delaneys for brunch today. They were very busy both in house and take away, but luckily there was one free table. Excellent meal of porridge followed by generous crispy bacon and cheese on very good bread. Friendly and efficient staff and fair prices with a huge choice range of both hot and cold options. We had not been in for some time, but our next visit will be much sooner, a very enjoyable experience.

Southsea Beach Cafe

We were on a short break holiday and popped in here last week for lunch. Surprisingly busy on a week day out of season. We found out why though, the food was absolutely superb as was the service. Great ambiance with lovely views over the Solent. The scallop and bacon on brioche rolls were outstanding and my wife's crab salad on sourdough was pronounced as superb. And for an extra special delight, try the haloumi fries, take care though as they could cause serious damage to the waistline. All in all, highly recommended. Wish we lived closer, it's a long drive from Scotland.

Such a lovely place for an afternoon tea. Have visited a few places but this is my favourite. On arrival our waitress asked if we had any dietary requirements. I don’t have butter in my sandwiches and my friend doesn’t like egg, staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Never feel rushed, great that you can just graze through all the delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Stayed for another drink afterwards and my friend even booked another afternoon tea before we left. Thank you and will be back again soon. Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea and appreciated the service we give.Hope to see you again soon

The sandwich was large, well filled and with salad and dreamy, creamy coleslaw. The crusty bread was lovely and soft in the middle. The service was excellent.

Smile Cafe

Family run, traditional English cafe serving fresh home cooked food, with a view to providing meat, vegetarian and vegan options.

Reviewed By W5484URpaull

We had a large full english with blk pudd and mushrooms added and a small vegan, coffee and a kickstart juice. It was really busy and we were forwarned of a 40 min wait, but it was worth it. Our drinks were brought to us almost immediately. The cafe has about 34 seats inc 3 x 2 seat tables outside. Everything was well cooked and girlfriend said it was THE best vegan breakfast she'd ever had! Staff maybe young but are very efficient in table clearing and keeping the very busy cafe clean and customers happy. Definitely reccomend.
