A lovely, cosy Sunday afternoon spent here. Friendly welcoming staff... clean... It's a proper pub... remember them??Food was hot, cooked well, plenty of it... very reasonable price... most enjoyable...Good selection of puddings..Will definitely be going back.

A little gem of a place. The staff are the best ever. Nothing is too much trouble they are so friendly and helpful. The food is not mass produced but cooked to perfection. Absolutely Everything was lovely. We last came here on Christmas Day which was spot on and intend booking for Christmas again. Thank you

I went to Oliver's for the first time for Lunch with a couple of friends. The staff where very friendly & welcoming. The food was excellent, 2 of us had freshly cooked cod in light crispy batter, peas & hand cut chips. Our other friend had the pie which she said was equally as good. It was 2 for £10 & drinks £2 we couldn't believe the excellent value for money for the quality of the food. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try homemade deserts which sounded tempting, next time we will.

Booked for sunday lunch, which was delicious... I hd the beef dinner and Claire th pork.. both dinners was plentiful and excellent... Served hot... Washed down with a great bottle of red wine..... The service as always, was superb. Great staff here.....We followed on witht he Rod Stewart tribute, which was brilliant... An excellent afternoon , brilliant....

On arrival at our local Toby carvery, we were told that a member of staff would come to us shortly. We stood there at least 10 to 15 minutes. More people were queuing behind us at the door, no member of staff came to us even though it wasnât busy, tables were still not cleared an people were waiting at the food counter it seems as though not enough staff were working that day, after a short while we left disgruntled an had our lunch somewhere else. We visit the watermill for a breakfast or a carvery as itâs our local Toby, itâs put us off going for a while.Hi Julie T, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit. Could you tell me the time that you were in please as we did not have any guests waiting at the door for 10-15 minutes all day? If you could narrow down the time and date for me I can then check on CCTV and look into this matter further. Many thanks.

Visited here for dinner with husband on a Saturday night,we had pre booked a table and had drinks at the bar whilst waiting.The staff here are friendly, the venue lively and close to town, food was very good and service great.

Took the family here for a celebratory meal. The food was excellent service was a little hit and miss but the place was extremely busy so can understand the servce. This was the first time I had been to this restaurant even though it is only about 2 miles from where I live (but it will not be the last time)I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something more up market than normal food grub.

A surprise birthday dinner was arranged for me by my partner. Ten of us sat down to a lovely meal. We all ordered different meals. They all came out together, all were hot and well presented. Extra vegetables, potatoes, chips and salad were brought out too.The staff were excellent... friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed very tasty meals.Thank you to the Carnarvon staff for my lovely birthday dinner ( and my partner of course)

Went here last night with a group of 11The service received from Amy Andrews was excellent a real people person .However the food is of poor quality Sirloin steak medium so tough it was inedible.Fish pie obviously frozen as the sauce was like water and the fish no flavour.Chicken tough Need I go on ! Give it a wide berth or just go there to see Amy and have a drink !
