Let's start with the positives- delicious food. Asparagus, popcorn prawns, paneer all cooked to perfection. The food was brilliant. But this place needs to get its act together elsewhere."Asian tapas" is a neat concept but falls apart when the first plates are brought within 25 minutes and the next ones are over an hour after that. The spacing was just silly. We finished our bottle of wine before our second round of "plates" and were not offered any more drinks at any point. When our first (dirty) plate was taken away, we were given a replacement with cutlery essentially chucked on it. No thank you after we'd paid- and we needed to work quite hard to even get the bill.It could be a great restaurant but there are some glaring issues they need to address before that is the case. We went there for a dinner. The service was very good and could even speak german. Drinks and food are brilliant. It was no problem to have an indian dish, which I discovered in Malaysia a few weeks ago. Very delicious. The Tandoori chicken comes without artificial colour - even that was explained when we placed the order. Very fair prizing. It is a pitty they have now some road works outside.Will definitily come back on the next trip.

The restaurant is large and has a very nice interior. The staff were so welcoming and very professional. A real effort was made. There were some complementary starter snacks which were a nice touch. I found the rest of the food to be underwhelming. The main dish was just like a very average medium curry, despite it being a vindaloo. The flavour wasn't great at all. Maybe it was a bad night as there are many other good reviews here.

This is the most dishonest restaurant I have been to in my life, management like to lie and manipulate. They will try to con you out of as much money as they can. Food is overpriced, portions are small and tastes bland. The waiters lack manners. I will not be returning to this place.This is the second time in a week the same person has put another fake review by opening another account by a different name and doing thing this one review which is a shame. No details of food or service given but just allegations made against the management which strongly suggest that this person has vested interest in another business. It is sad that some people choose to use this forum wrongly to malign us. I'll leave it for our guests to decide. Thank you

FoodService Very SlowTable was downstairs which was dirty looking and chairs were stained.Also was next to toilets and a pile of unused furniture.Asian family came down and they were told just stay there we will have a much nicer table upstairs for you soon !! Ordered Corbra was given Gurkha beerChutneys were horrible and sour , they all tasted the same.Nan bread ( which looked more like pizza ) had lumps of RAW Garlic spread over it Saag Daal was super ( the only nice thing served).Samosas were raw vegetable hot tasteless.Main course Pilau rice was nice Rogan josh was Very salty to the point it was unpleasant Chicken jalfrazi was ok but had random super hot chillies in it !!Would never eat there again

I think a lot of Indian restaurants are overpriced, especially for King Prawn dishes, and many of them have in my opinion gone downhill in quality. Albany Spice is a no frills byob cafe style eaterie that delivers decent quality Indian food at a really reasonable price with polite attentive service. Good for takeaway too. Recommended.

Haidong the owner has extensive experience of big named restaurants, in particular, Nobu. It shows... the food is AMAZING, amongst the best Japanese food I've ever eaten. It's a lovely restaurant, great decor and an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Plus fab Japanese whiskeys and plum wines! And the team are so friendly. I can't recommend highly enough.

Such a nice evening in Umi; the service is very attentive, personal but not in your face. It is exactly right. We enjoyed the Kaisa salad as a starter, crunchy wirh a fresh peanut dressing. The other starters were also very good. The main rolls were spot on and because it is all freshly prepared the few changes we asked for were not a problem. Thank you Bobby and team for a fantastic evening!.

Came across this little restaurant by accident down in Isleworth for work and needed some great flavour. This couldnât have been better, a fantastic choice of food and a really friendly atmosphere, lovely staff and made to felt so welcome. Thank you for lifting the evening.
