We had heard good things about the takeaway so we ordered food to collect. Service was very good and swift. You can see into the kitchen when collecting and everything is really clean.Unfortunately that is where the good points end. Our curries were really tasteless and lacking in flavour. I choose Tikka Masala because I don't like a lot of spice but there didn't seem to be any spices at all. My husband left half of his and that's saying something as he really isn't fussy! It was unfortunate because the service was so good.

tried viraj restaurant in darlington for the first time tonight - it was amazing. 10/10. firstly, the food was perfect. started with poppadoms and dips...then had butter chicken, lamb rogan josh & shared some chips, keema rice and a cheese naan. so fresh, tasty and moreish. secondly, the staff were so lovely and chatty and genuinely cared about their business. thirdly, the restaurant is small and intimate with around 6 tables - which created a perfect atmosphere. itâs their 1st year anniversary next week & theyâre hosting a party on the sunday - look in to it as theyâre offering a really good deal. we canât go as weâre out for fireworks otherwise i would have defos gone back! loved it!

Cold day - large bowl of noodles and chicken in a spicy broth - happiness. There is a really good choice of salads, sushi, gyoza, noodles, warming soups, wraps and more. Service is quick for either take away or eat on the spot.

Four of us went for a meal on Christmas Eve 2018, we chose The Asha as it is quite close and we had not been disappointed before there. We were seated immediately and had a most attentive waiter take our coats and ask us about drinks. We settled down and had not very long to wait before a plate of popadoms with assorted chutneys and dips appeared, they were delicious. Our main courses arrived and they too were splendid, I had some mixed kebabs which were cooked to perfection. The others were also pleased with their choices. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient. I recommend Asha to anyone in the Catterick Garrison area, it has been there a long time and offers good Indian food at reasonable prices.Cliff Bowes

Ordered a squid salad, veggies fried with ginger and scallion, green curry pork. The lettuce around the squid salad was old and turning towards brown. The squid was tender, though, and the dressing tasty. The pork in the curry was dry and leathery, the curry quite thin. The stir fried veggies were over cooked and not that flavorful. Give this place a miss. You can do better.

The service was absolutely excellent, despite it being quite busy, Andy and Ahmad couldn't do enough to make our evening pleasant. The quality of the meat was second to none; I've never had such tender lamb in a restaurant.

New Treasure Garden Restaurant is a family business situated in a Grade II listed building in the heart of the historic Market Town of Richmond, North Yorkshire. With its traditional oriental atmosphere it offers a unique experience of the east. Eddie Ma
This restaurant looks tiny from the outside but is surprisingly big inside. We decided to go for the set menu for two and there was no problem substituting one of the dishes for something else. The restaurant was very busy with a large group but the service was good - the serving staff really earn their money! Food was great - very enjoyable. Thank you for such a positive review, weâre pleased to hear you enjoyed dining with us and that you were well looked after by our waiting staff. We hope to see you again soon!

The restaurant was very quiet but we needn't have worried...the food was absolutely excellent, price was good and service very friendly. We had a seat by the window with a scenic view. Would definitely return. Two things to note: they don't serve alcohol (but you can bring your own), and they are cash only.
