Cool place, nice view, good food and service. Don't go looking elsewhere. Typical Greek food, but prepared and served in a refined way. The wine list has some of the best Greek wines on it. Prices are like in any other Greek tavern, maybe slightly higher, but then this small difference is really worth it.

Rakoyn is a traditional restaurant with a great variety of mezze plates (tapas) and a great variety of local traditional drinks. The view of the restaurant towards the archaeological site of the city (one of the 5 sacred cities of the antiquity) makes its experience in Rakoyn magical. The plates are prepared and served with care and love as the owners have chosen to cook the way greeks cook for their families with ingredients of a best quality! In Rakoyn you can also have a coffee and get a homemade dessert. If you need a word to describe the place, this is "homemade". Always waiting for you!

Been here just last night. Nice location by the street alongside the eleusis site. Enjoyed the meal and the music. The service was very good and the menu was in English too. Sampled the raki, bit too strong for me. Couldn't sample the plate of the day or some other dish since it wasn't available that night.Will like to go back and try it out again.

This little coffee house sits just opposite the entrance for the Archeological Site at Elefsina, the site of the Elusion mysteries. After a warm afternoon in the sun you enter a beautiful outdoor olive garden. The coffee drinks were very good. The pastries were OK in one case and really interesting in another. Their "brownie" was like a glob of chocolate lava cake batter with extra baking powder that had been baked. It was made with good chocolate but did;t really have the textural characteristics of an American brownie. The pitas sfakiani however was very good. It consists of two sheet of flat phyllo pastry filled with a Cretan cheese like slightly soured ricotta. This is cooked until the phyllo is browned and then drizzled with good honey and toasted sesame seeds.
Best of all however is the ambience. Even if you come for coffee you just don't want to get up and leave this very shady, comfortable garden. We lingered for 1 1/2 hours! Enjoy it if you go to Elefsina.

A warm place with the friendly stuff. Our food is inspired by the Aegean cuisine, but is served in different way. "Meze", meat dishes, seafood, and the variety of traditional drinks. All our dishes are prepared with love and individual wants of every client.We will be glad to meet you

We booked a large table for a group of 18 people and selected several dishes to share amongst us. Each plate was delicious. Καλη επιλογή κυρίως για καποιον που εργάζεται και θελει να φαει κατι σπιτικο, μαγειρευτό και με ποιοτικές πρώτες ύλες, αντί για τυποποιημένα σάντουιτς και τυρόπιτες. Μεγάλες μερίδες και νόστιμα πιάτα.

Αν είστε γνωστός, θα δώσετε παραγγελία γρήγορα, θα φάτε τις πατάτες που έχει παραγγείλει άλλος και τίποτα που να έχει μείνει από την προηγούμενη μέρα.
Αρκετά καλό φαγητό, κακό σέρβις, χώρος που χρειάζεται ανακαίνιση.
Συνολικά καλό, μην πάτε μέρα που θα έχει πολύ κόσμο.

Used to typical sea side tavernas in Greece I have to say that this place was a let down. There was nothing really wrong but nothing exciting either .... Even the windows had frames making sure that you do not get an exciting sea view. Food was ok, except from fried potatoes which were unacceptable. Wine list non existing only two whites available, tried Lafazanis Mantineia which was pleasant but in line with the rest, nothing exciting. Service was good but again uninspiring, not the typical mediteranean lively approach. When we were leaving they just set the woods on in the fireplace. I must admit that was the first impression of excitement....

Vintage estate transformed into a cosy place for entertainment. When we visit it with my friend I felt like we where invited to a friendly party. I could be busy at times especially on weekends.

After having strolled around Elefsina's area, we got a bit hungry. We spotted this nice little restaurant, not far from the sea side, so we decided to have our lunch here.The choice proved valid. Quiet and clean environment, with a waitress very friendly and helpful. Even if the given menu did not represent in total a normal/classical Italian one, the food we selected and eventually we got was good (focaccia with mozzarella, prosciutto and rocket salad, followed by risotto with porcini mushrooms and penne rigate with vegetables and pieces of chicken sauce. Espresso coffee to finish). Price we paid was reasonable.
I feel like giving a recommendation for lunch: go there after 1,30 p.m. since they open at 1.00 o'clock and they need about half an hour to heat their wood oven.

The bar overlooks the sea and has a large Seating area, which is lovely in the day or evening. The cocktail menu isn't broad but they have a large selection of spirits on the back bar. The cocktails were okay, but the service is slow (we went twice and the waiters 'couldn't be bothered' both times). The management was rude - we were leaning back on a swing chair and were told to 'sit up properly'. It was the middle of the day with 35 degrees, I think it was a bit over the top. The 'boss' kept glaring at us, which was unreasonable and ultimately made us leave the bar. There are so many nicer places in Elefsina where the service is brilliant, not worth it!
