Staff gazing at the entrance without much help. Food was ok, in fact, all the dishes were good except chops were chewy, most of the drinks on the menu was not available. Food:- 8/10Service:- 9/10.

Sometimes food is not everything.Ambience and class also matters.Well food was good, somehow gives a punjabi Indian taste..Well I like the food and also staff there. From different places, multi lingual, at d end nice staff.Clean place and huge architecture. Inside out it gives a royal look. Quantity of food it little less thn other restaurants in al ahsa. Some dishes little Pricey... But one time must go.

During causal visit to Hassa, we visited safron rest.We orderd Indian talassery style Mutton Biriyani, and Fish biriyani with Side dishes as Mix Grill with Hummous and green salads.Really awesome taste. Hotel Ambiance and staffs are very nice. Foods are having traditional taste and good preparation. recommending for family

Firstly, Reception is not very welcoming, no proper greeting, especially the guy on Cashier. Secondly, the restaurant is very congested you have to wait a long time to get the table and the staff is not so helpful to arrange seating in the waiting area. Thirdly, When you are at the restaurant they actually ask you to finish quickly irrespective of whether you finished your meals or not. fortunately, this happened to one of our neighboring tables. Lastly, Food was Average.Food:- 7/10Service:- 5/10

I do not want to add too many details here, but you only need to know that what made my stay at the Intercontinental Al Ahsa deviate to an average experience from an otherwise good experience was - Ofcourse - "Silk Road".The food here is OK, but the service is super poor.....Gosh...there is an open conflict between the guy who takes the order and the cooks there.....it is all in the open.The restaurant was busy as I was here for dinner,but common, you need to be professional and need to give the guest the time to place the order and go through some of the options he/she is interested in, before we actually place the order. YOU CANNOT RUSH YOUR GUEST JUST BECASUE YOU R BUSY.....CAN YOU??!!!!Intercontinental Al Ahsa is a great place to stay and for me what dragged down my experience negatively was "SILK ROAD".....Please fix your servide standrads....what good is having good food if your service is below PAR!!!!Cheers,Syed M.
