Though it is next to Alexandroupoli's camping and also has a beach bar and a huge open-air space on the lawn for evening drinks and snacks with a kid's playground on the side (both open only summertime), the main restaurant is a year-round establishment and it is large, airy and with a nice sea view!Parking lot available for free (you can also walk from the city's center, but if you have a car it is convenient).We go for special occasions (family celebrations) when we travel to Alexandroupoli from Athens and we are generally satisfied. Food portions are big, variety is good (though they don't have everything everyday, weekends are better) offering Mediterranean-Greek cuisine, prices are medium!Wine list is extended and with excellent Greek wines (prices almost low), but sometimes there is a shortage in certain bottles...They offer both meat and fish dishes, we usually order meat. Salads are huge and tasty, appetizers are so many we cannot choose (most of the times we have grilled mushrooms or veggies and stuffed red pepper with cheese, both very good), dessert is on the house (last time they offered crepes with chocolate sauce and lots of ice cream).Service is mostly good, but sometimes not so good (maybe they need more waiters, maybe they need a better training). I mean they can be slow or say the wrong things (but they try and they are friendly).We drink at least 2 bottles of good wine, eat a lot and the bill for 6 persons is 15-20 euros pp.

This place is downtown and very easily accessible.I liked the decoration and i found prices quite good.The only thing I didn't like is that staff was fully anxious and they made us feel quite uncomfortable. Despite this, i think that it worths visiting at least once!

A nice restaurant by a small square near the port, recently opened. Michalis, the owner, always with smile, offers delicious, simple and nicely served fish and meat dishes. We tried fresh fish (skatharia) deiciously grilled and other meze type dishes. Salomon with cream cheese was a pleasant suprise. The prices very reasonable and the staff very friendly. Definitely a place to visit and enjoy your meal in Alexandroupolis. Highly recommended to everyone.

I went there with my family and we had a great time. Staff is helpful and friendly . Coffee is delicious and the chocolate isvery good too. Highly reccommended for families.

That was a seemingly great choice for a relaxing night out with friends and family while visiting Alexandoupolis. Finally, we left with a bitter sweet taste.A reservation, especially for busy nights, is highly recommended.In general the food and drinks are of above average quality. The menu consists of a nice variety of modern Greek and international cuisine dishes. Cocktails are descent and the wine list really impressive (tip: worth visiting the cellar in the basement which is open all day and night).Our waiter was very well mannered, well trained and really friendly. Not only was he quick and willing to serve us but he explained in full details and vey good English everything to our international friends (and even their kids). Thumbs up for him!For starters the beef tartar and the goat cheese dish were upscale. As for the main dishes, the beef fillet with aubergine sauce, the mushroom risoto and the handmade lasagna really stand out. As for the wine, we selected Skantzohiros by Ktima Alfa. Generally speaking ,almost all of their wines are definately overpriced.Everyone though was happy with the food and enjoying dinner.Well, not everyone actually. Our additional order of another tagliata for the young son of our friends was the beginning of our problems. Even though the kind waiter told us that this would be ready in 10-15 minutes, the tagliata was nowhere to be seen. It landed to our table no earlier than 1 hour and 10 minutes. That was a comlete failure of service. And unfortunately the manager was unable to assist us and unaware of the situation.Our second disappointment was the bill.First and foremost it was given to us verbally! No receipt - no nothing. When a proper bill was asked, they brought us one which was obviously printed afterwards (as the time stamp indicates) and in a "strange" outlook: all 17 of our dishes were printed as "ÏαγηÏÏ" (food) without a basic discription. Really weird receipt that was. All in all, this wine bar restaurant is poorly managed place with some exceptionally good feautures.

The best restaurant with the best value for money in Alexandroupolis! Perfect location. Rich menu with diverse salads and deliciuos meals of pork, veal, chicken, fish and other seafood. Lovely dessert. Kind and helpful staff. You have your order in several minutes. Not in vain, for 10 years yet we travel 130 km at least once a month, crossing the border only to enjoy the food there!
