After looking around in Lumajang for a restaurant we were so lucky to find this nice place. Friendly service, lekker drinks and excellent food.They are also in the travel business. If the owner is there have a chat with him he is an interesting clever young guy.

Saat perjalanan balik dari air terjun Tumpak Sewu, sy dan teman mampir makan siang di depot ini. Sy memesan nasi sayur lodeh dengan tambahan lauk telor ceplok. Rasanya enak dan harganya murah. Makan berdua dengan teman sy hanya habis IDR 23K saja. Sangat rekomen bagi orang2 yang sedang berada di Lumajang. Tempat ini juga menyediakan 2 tempat duduk yaitu di bangku dan lesehan. Kami memilih duduk di lesehan sambil makan siang dan menghilangkan lelah setelah bermotoran.

Saya baru pertama kali berkunjung ke Lumajang (7-9 Nov 2016) dan baru pertama kali juga menikmati makan siang di Resto Bu Tjipto. Resto ini sederhana namun menu-menu masakannya mengunggah selera makan kita. Jadi, kalau sedang ke Lujamang jangan lupa mampir ke Resto Bu Tjipto.

Resto ini merupakan rumah makan yang menyajikan makanan menu Indonesia dan specialty coffee. Suasana unik dan memiliki desain ala Bali ( music yang diputar juga adalah lagu-lagu Bali). Amazing !

Gajah mada resturant and gajah mada hotel are in the same location on google maps Over the past week myself and my husband have eaten here every day ... We are cycle touring across south east asia stopping in Lumajang pausing our trip as we started to feel unwell and regain strength by resting for a few days This restaurant was the cleanest and had the most friendliest staff we have experienced in java so farAlthough communication was tricky but fun as we dont speak very much Bashar and staff members don't speak much English either Google translate was used and made it lots of fun communicating FOOD was fast hot and delicious I had many things on the menu ( big menu lots to choose from) my favourite go to was a banana juice a chef favourite rice with beef and tofu and chocolate ice cream Wowee I'm so happy we found this place As my husband was un well and couldn't eat many things (take away was an awesome option) they made him a soup with no meat or vegetables so just hot vegetable broth and this with white steamed rice he could eat as it was a simple basic meal that he could keep down I totally reccomend this place if you are ever in the area Terima kasih restaurant team at the Gajah Mada :)

Merupakan soto legendaris di Lumajang. Dulu berada di alun alun Lumajang. Memiliki 2 varian menu yaitu soto daging sapi dan soto daging campur. Khas dengan taburan koya yang banyak sangat sedap dan lezat. Berada agak di utara kota Lumajang berada di pinggir jalan raya sangat mudah terlihat.
