Reviewed By Josca WWe had to wait a few hours for our train, and asked the hostel if we could have a shower and charge our phones. It was no problem and we got to use it for free. Super friendly and helpful staff, and very clean hostel. Definitely recommend

Reviewed By Andrew GDecided to get trip around Banyuwangi and found this super homey homestay. The owner are humble, she help us to get one-day laundry. All room have ac, the bathrooms are clean and the breakfast are good. So far this was the most friend homestay.

One of the worst hotel I ever stayed
Reviewed By arsalanlovestravelI had a recent trip wherein I stayed in more than a dozen hotel and this was the worst. First of all the evening staff are not able to speak English properly. There is no one to welcome you. The old building is in dilapidated condition and I was given a room there. The rooms were big but the furniture etc was quite old and bland. This is the first hotel wherein there is no bottled water in the room as complimentary.The electric kettle was in its final leg of its life, their staff barge in without knocking on the door. The breakfast was dismal with very less variety. The good thing is the mountain view and the big rooms for this property. I would suggest you skip this pathetic hotel as it not worth the money

Reviewed By Nightowl96We only stayed one night at the mador hostel but it was absolutely worth it. We came with an overnight train from Yogyakarta and got picked up at 6am from the bus station. The staff at the hostel was so kind and extremely helpful. They organised the entire tour for the bromo. And also help us organising a bus to get to Banyuwangi. The hostel was clean and the air conditioning was good to. Extrem good value for the price. Would stay again! ?

The view is nice like in pictures, the design is unique with ship themed.Love the double bed bunkbeds for 2 adults n 2 kids (Family suite), breakfast were up to standard. Cute room slippers n amenities provided, room was clean simply minimalist n comfortable bed. Kapal Garden hotel's location is about in the middle,, between Batu and Malang. BNS, Jatim Park 3 takes about 20 minutes, also to the City of Malang is about 30 minutes. Overall we would like to come back in the future for this value that we paid for with what we get.

He prepared for me the visit to the Ijen and after that the visit to the Bromo, we had a problem with the transportation to Probbolingo because now it is low season and they didn't have anyone else going there but he solved and after leaving the hostel we kept in touch and he was taking care that everything was nice and easy in my trip. The owner is responsible and great guy and the accommodation was great for the value and close to many nice restaurants in less than 200m. If you are going to Banyuwangi looking for adventure this is your place!!
