Close to the airport but still incredibly quiet and peaceful
Reviewed By BenJamIno0303We lucked out massively. As our flight was leaving very early, we wanted to stay close to the airport. A mere 10 minutes away on the hotel-provided shuttle, Peri's Hotel ticked the boxes. But Peri is not your lifeless, impersonal airport hotel ... to the contrary. The staff could not be friendlier. The receptionist even offered to buy us tickets for public transportation, so we could take a quick trip to Athens. The rooms were spacious, clean, well-equipped. We really enjoyed our take-away dinner on the balcony. This is a relatively small hotel, but run very efficiently and focussed on the needs/wishes of the guests. I highly recommend Peri's Hotel.

Disappointing
Reviewed By mpmorgan1974Really disappointed with this hotel. Whilst it was clean the hotel is desperately in need of redecorating, very shabby decor and damaged furniture. Rooms also very noisy. Could hear guest next door snoring as if they were in same room. Never experienced noise like this in any other hotel. I did make reception aware but i was left very disillusioned with the response - very dismissive response by saying they would let the maid know (as if it was their responsibility). Frankly only interested in taking payment from me. Breakfast was ok. On a positive note we were warmly welcomed and staff managed to accommodate a slightly earlier book in, however in hindsight this may caused the maids to rush as we did not have items missing (no drinking glasses, no coffee) and beds were not made very well. Swimming pool is also very good. Also worth noteing that local restaurants were mostly closed. (Possibly early season- but it was also Easter holidays.) Only bars open. We had a hire car so we able to drive a few miles to find a decent restautant.

Comfortable and welcoming for late night arrivals
Reviewed By sharonhR1863DCUnfortunately for us we arrived on a delayed flight into Athens at 1am, but fortunately for us we had booked at the Miami Hotel, even if it only meant a tiny 5 hrs sleep! The owners here know exactly what a weary traveller needs... a 24 hr check-in with understanding and welcoming staff (even at 2am!!), a clean and comfortable room, and breakfast ready and waiting for you at 6am so that you can catch your 8am ferry without stress. These guys know what they’re doing!!

Reviewed By 928celestemWe arrived in Athens super early in the morning and were so glad for Galotel's transport waiting just out the door for us on time! Spiros was our driver and drove us to the hotel and also the next day drove us to the city. The stay was comfortable and clean and the next day we had delicious coffee and greek pastry for breakfast at the cafe right down stairs. We would definitively use this service and stay here again. It's very close to the airport and the attention is very professional.

Great apartment, 10 minutes from Athens for airport
Reviewed By Traveller66We stayed overnight in one (of the 3) apartments owned by A&J, as our flight left early the next day. Our one could sleep 6-7 comfortably, very spacious and modern. A&J were friendly and very helpful hosts. Airport shuttle service worked seamlessly and good value (€12). Good local restaurant (Sindetiras) just a 10 minute walk away. Recommended for those needing somewhere close to Athens airport.

Bad experience
Reviewed By BahaK23Due to my job, I stayed in different hotels in many countries. For the first time in my life, I'm cold in a hotel. We arrived to hotel midnight. It was realy cold and there was a problem on wireless connection. After first night, we asked to solve the problems. Second night. They were able to raise the room temperature to 21 degrees. This is the first time I've slept in a coat in a hotel room. Another problem was wi-fi connection. They said that we will contact the telecommunication company during the day. We thought it was a general problem. However, in the evening we saw that there is internet at the reception but not in the rooms. When we asked to share the password of the connection at the reception, they said that they gave separate internet to each room for security reasons. I couldn't understand how they provide security with non-existent internet.

Reviewed By azul58Run by the family. On the road to Skala Oropos, a few kms, before you get to the shore. The high place gives a great view of the surroundings from a balcony. Enough parking spots. There is an elevator, and accesibility for handicapped at the entrance. Very nice lady in charge.

We ve had for sure better service in less expensive places.The man than I suppose was the manager of the place seemed to be quite bad tempered. Unfortunately not a relaxing stay. :(
