I liked it! Met a friend for breakfast and for me it was the first time here. Once I figured out how things work here; you order your food and pay for it, then find a seat and they will bring your order to you....MoreHi Karl, thank you for your review! Actually we have table service here, and I apologize that you had to come to the counter to order! Either way works! Again, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed your breakfast and coffee! Naomi

Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery

Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is located in a once empty warehouse on the Historic Basque Block in downtown Boise, Idaho. On April 25th, 2000, history was made when we served the first cocktail to included spirits distilled in a restaurant in the US. As the nation's first restaurant distillery, Bardenay has set an industry precedent as the first full service restaurant and bar with the ability to create handcrafted liquor on-site. Our distillers are happy to give tours as time allows. Please ask your server if you are interested in a closer look at our operations. p.s. We are only allowed to sell our fine spirits by the drink. If you would like to purchase a bottle, you may do so at many of our state liquor stores.

Great place for a huge variety of food and drinks. We had great drinks, service and food. I recommend meat. The burger was delish and the steak (filet) was cooked perfectly. Bodacious Pig Barbecue

Reviewed By jaray24 - Nampa, Idaho

I hadn't been to Bodacious Pig for over a year since my office moved out of Eagle. But my wife and I went and had a great time. It wasn't to busy over lunch and I ordered the Oink Burger. The burger was good, but the pork on it was a bit on the dry side. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich which she said the same thing about it being a little dry. We ordered a side of ribs just to try them out. They weren't quite the "fall off the done" that I prefer but tasted really good. Over all the food is good, I'm not sure if the pork had just been sitting out to long or why it was so dry.

Excellent quality lattes that I have come to expect from Starbucks but the service here was especially friendly and my preferences remembered my second visit! I dropped in here during a recent business trip as I hurriedly Made my way to a meeting. This was my first time at this particular Starbucks; second morning I ran in and the same friendly barista said good morning and smiled and said, venti quad skinny vanilla latte 2 xtra pumps? I smiled...said, "yes please", and left a handsome tip of gratitude for the personalized service... :)

Great place. I visited the new location in downtown Eagle. Can't wait to return with a book and stay awhile. I had the pumpkin spice latte and it rivaled any in town and it was priced competitively. The barista was efficient and friendly. The pastries looked wonderful but I only had the latte.

Busy Diner type atmosphere, but moves fairly quickly with food that is worth the wait; there is a limited "waiting area" that forces you outside or cramped; Good portions and lots of menu options to choose from!

This is a review from an East Coaster, so keep it in mind. We went there with our grandchildren and were told that after 4 we needed to be seated, which wouldn't be a problem only that the service was really slow (for East Coast standards). We just wanted to have a drink and pastry and we were there for an hour. Maybe, there should be a separate area for coffee only? The staff was nice and the place is really intriguing.

Bella Aquila

Reviewed By WineTravelerCA - Thousand Oaks, California

We met a friend and his girlfriend for dinner. We had not seen each other for a couple of years. The food was very well prepared, the waitress knew how to handle the bottle of wine I brought and seeing that we were talking a lot, they gave us plenty of space to enjoy our night out. The service was attentive but unobtrusive. Everyone enjoyed their meals, I had a steak that was just the way I liked it and my wife had a salmon dish that she really enjoyed. I think the patio overlooking the creek behind the place was the perfect spot to sit. We really enjoyed this place.
