My husband & I ate at The Pepper Tree for my special birthday dinner. The food was fantastic, we had the soft shell crab & tuna tartare for entree then duck breast & pork belly for main course, both exquisite.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner. The special touch of the table being decorated for my birthday & attentiveness of the staff made our night. I would like to point out the wine is expensive but we are in Vietnam & the music from the restaurant on the beach did slightly spoil the ambience of a very lovely restaurant but the food certainly made up for the overall experience.

Sunset Beach is located right along the lines of the gorgeous Long Beach, 5 mins away from the Night Market and 10 mins from the airport. After weeks of exploring and truly living in Phu Quoc, we decided to set up a spot here where people could enjoy the fresh local food, local and draft beer, tasty cocktails, and especially the beach party's atmosphere by the beach. Soon, we will have a soft opening before Christmas 2016 so please come, enjoy, and give us feedback helping us to improve and making this place great for everyone visiting this gorgeous island. Sunset Beach offers 50 meters of beach line with free tanning chairs and a variety of activities, such as: water balloon fight, jet ski, beach party, and campfire at night. Everyday from 5 PM, we will serve fresh seafood BBQ. Every Tuesday, Pyjama Boat Party come over and having fun with us. Every Saturday is a party day with Voyagers Studio DJ playing from 8PM. Hats off to the staff for handling a mid service deluge of rain. Everyone just rushed inside and resat themselves, a total nightmare for the service team who had no way of tracking back original orders to tables as they came out from the kitchen. They managed brilliantly though and service was fast, with a smile and the food was superb. I don't understand some of the comments implying people who rate this place highly don't know good Vietnamese food or are naive. I've travelled around Vietnam and most of Asia, the food here is great.

We have visited here three times as food excellent. The staff remembered us and were very attentive, although during busy periods service lacking and a wait on tables. Had the chicken and duck with ginger both tasted amazing and vegetable fried rice. Calamari and spring rolls crispy and tasty, and calamari not chewy. Chicken noodles very filling. Great Vietnamese cuisine and tasty food with reasonable portions, and good value for money. Local beer cold and good and a very busy restaurant. Would recommend a visit for fresh good value local cuisine.

Thanks to TripAdvisor we came here since our little guy loves pizza and we want to eat Vietnamese food. We ordered pizza, squid fried rice and bun bo Nam bo and everything was delicious!! There were 3 other tables and all tourists. They called for a taxi to take us back to our hotel since it’s in a small alley. Highly recommended!!

We tried one of the combo dishes, where you get a big bucket full of delicious seafood. It is a bit messy to eat, but a lot of fun and all the seafood was fresh and amazingly tasty. Recommended!
