Reviewed By MMStarkI cannot name a thing I disliked here. Everything was perfect. Location was wonderful and the room was very clean, with fresh air. The accommodation has a small inner court where you can drink your coffee in peace or simply relax in one of the two hammocks. You won't miss the A/C because the room is very well isolated, we had no problem with the heat. The room was pretty roomy, the bathroom is small, but for us it was alright. It has a kitchen, without oven, but with microwave, and a grill outside. It is not some luxurious hotel or mannor, no pool, no large yards, no ultra-high confort but a nice and confy countryside home that will put your mind at peace in a holiday. Razvan and Anca were amazing hosts, very warm and welcoming, they showed us the surroundings themselves, by foot and by car and we can't thank them enough for everything they did! Not to be missed, a quality/price ratio way too high, highly recommended!

Reviewed By mirceadanaBest accommodation in the area! I had a very nice weekend with friends at the Pension. The host is an excellent party maker. I salute him and hope to return as soon as possible for another party. Don’t forget to ask for a boat trip on the Danube… by night.

Reviewed By miruna lBeautiful location!! Room's are nice and clean ,large balcony with an amazing view. Beautiful and green garden with large pool ,all nice and very well maintained. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our staying at Pensiunea Cazanele Dunarii. We will be back for sure !!

Reviewed By HorA15Excellent host, great views, clean rooms, fantastic food. Me and my girlfriend arrived from Târgu Jiu quite late and we were expected by the host with a warm fire by the chimney, good armosphere and great food. Strongly recommend!

Rstaurant - great place, nice experience
Reviewed By Mihaela CSpending 3 days in Dubova and being accommodated in a guesthouse nearby, we used the Mirific Reasturant for lunch and dinner. Place is clean and from the terrace there is a splendid view over Danube and mountains. Very good food - we have chosen local, but there is a very wide range to choose from. Staff - very polite, quick and helpful, giving apposite advises. A real pleasure and a great place to enjoy the stay in the area.

Cabana Delfinul is located in a picturesque area on the banks of the Danube, at the foot of the spectacular gorge carved here you can admire the Danube Danube Gorge in the mountains, at the entrance of large boilers. We offer restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, mountain trails, touristic guide, travel on the Danube by boat and many others.
Intentionally served rotten meat
Reviewed By JippilyOne of the people I was travelling with was served rotten meat. The chef (who is also the owner) said that this was intentional as she did not have enough fresh meat, and did not seem to understand his displeasure at being intentionally poisoned. I am not sure if she is malicious, stupid, or both. Apart from this, all of the food was terribly cooked and took over an hour to arrive multiple times, the WiFi is unusable, the toilet leaked and had to be shaken to refill, and the entire place is in a state of disrepair and clearly built by amateurs. Also bear in mind that the facilities listed on websites like here are not accurate, the owner has simply selected that they have everything. The only good part was the view, and the high-school aged waiting staff that I hope are being paid enough for their troubles.
