A good restaurant in an authentic oldest Dornbirn's residential house. Eventually one must make reservation for the dinner as the place is popular and with many people, especially in lunch time when they serve a special lunch menu. Glad to find local meals in this menu for quite an available price. Good service and friendly waiters who are even ready to help to make photos.

Many good restaurants in Vorarlberg. Der Verwalter was no exception on a sunny summer evening. Seating inside and outside - on a not so impressive Terrace - may be more spectacular elsewhere. A warm welcome by friendly, attentive and skilled staff more than made up for it. My company not being very hungry, we ordered a goat cheese salad (very good) and the summer tapas menue, that was a much better deal with the same ingredients, compared to the full menue, according to the waitress. Right she was. 3 very fine starters, 3 small mains and 3 desserts, all 9 delicious. Add an exquisite and still affordable recommended grüner Veltliner. The "dolorosa" (tab) did not lower our spirits. We will definitely be back.

We used to eat lunch here almost every week but haven't been in a while. They have always had great schnitzel - very tender, good quality meat. Other dishes also tend to be quite good, although I had some disappointing käsespätzle once (fried onions were limp and greasy). Other than that I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

We were in Dornbirn for the Bregenzerfestspiel and as our hotel did not have it's own restaurant we asked fir a couple of recommendations, we settled on this one as there was some kind of open air fashion show going on outside one of the other places. Even though they were busy they found a table outside for us knowing that we would be out before the guests who had reserved at 8 pm, and we were so happy they did, two in our party ordered the lomo 21 to share and said it was one of the best filet steak they had ever eaten, another had the salmon steak which was excellent and i ordered the prawns which were perfect ! The sauces and sides were tasty , the service perfect !

This is a nice place to hang out and, depending on the weather, that can be either outdoors or inside the premises. Lots of foodie choices, mostly traditional Austrian offerings. Reasonable prices and good service. Relaxing, casual and good quality for the money. Drop by for lunch - never disappoints.

I go to Austria and Germany a lot for business, but when I'm around Dornbirn this is the only restaurant I go to. I've tried every plate in the menu (a very extensive menu!) and not once I've been disappointed.
The food preparation and presentation is great, good quality of ingredients at a very affordable price.
Try the potato encrusted Turkey breast. This is my favourite!

We found this restaurant just walking around town looking for a place to eat light. It was nearly packed, so we took a chance. We were met with friendly, yet non English speaking service. Between the German and the Italian menus we managed to order a great salad and a fantastic pizza. The food was perfectly what we were looking for, the atmosphere was warm and family oriented, the service was a bit slow, but I'll call it "traditional". Over all a good value for our money and nice meal on a cold night (plus a decent beer from a brewery right across the street).

Walked a very scenic route (took about 1 1/2 hours and quite steep in places but well worth it) to the restaurant.
Food and service were good and the view spectacular.
Nice to be able to take the cable car back down, which cost about euro 5 for one way.

Okay. You have been looking, in different places and for a long time, for the best Wienerschnitzel that can be found. You have endured a lot of both peculiar and odd-looking examples of this dish. And now you want to eat something good. Here you are! Wienerschnitzels to die for, and in huge amounts. They even have them in different sizes: "Wiener Schnitzel in den Größen S / M / L / XL". You are guaranteed not to leave the table hungry. Enjoy.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Gabriel's Cucina in every way. Rest assured that, no matter which dish you choose, you will have a meal cooked to perfection.
Ask (the owner and a native Italian) Gabriel for the day's recommendation and he will explain you competently about the special meals or self-imported wines (and foods) he offers.
