Flynnie's Diner is a delicious Homestyle Cookin' diner located in Dixon Illinois. We feature classic Diner style stools, tables and booths in a very friendly and personal environment. We are not a truck stop. We are a personal family experience where even the old guys can hang out daily and feel well known.
Great food and great service. Very casual. Open for breakfast and lunch. Sunday buffet is renown. The home made Irish Stew was very tasty as were our sandwiches. A must stop for breakfast or lunch.

This little shop is 7 blocks from our house and by far our favorite summer "treat" stop! It has every option imaginable and the staff is so friendly with the kids! Can't beat the drive up window on a rainy day- it's by far the best!!!!

My family and I love coming here. It is a more formal dining setting than what we usually eat, but we have had wonderful food and wonderful service each time I have eaten there. I am sad that I will not be working in downtown Dixon any longer for lunch. This is a great place for a business lunch. 2 of my kids have requested Basil Tree for their birthday dinner. My in-laws were really impressed when they came in from out of town and had dinner with us at Basil Tree. I am not much of a wine consumer, but my in-laws are and they really enjoyed the wine selection.

The deli was first opened in the 1970's in Rock Falls Illinois and later in Dixon Illinois, and Sterling Illinois. They offer signature deli sandwiches .amo
Locally-owned deli restaurants in the Sauk Valley region that are a step above fast food. In addition to freshly made sub sandwiches, a variety of fresh fruit and dessert options are available from the counter. Make your own full salad at the garden bar. Higher priced than Subway, but quality of ingredients and fun atmosphere adds value.

So the food isn't terrible, but it isn't good. The options are pretty basic and they're pretty bland and usually over cooked. We typically retry this place after we tired of our usual places and it doesn't ever really get better.

The restaurant has just moved everyone! Tiny bit bigger, but with a small bar, a carry out window, and much bigger sushi bar. Nice location. Always busy on weekends! Sushi selection is top notch. Service is great - good group of waiters and waitresses. I recommend Goy See Mee. Delicious. The sushi guys are wonderfully creative to come up with things not on the menu - when they're not slammed. Sit at the sushi bar and just watch JoBo and Tony work their magic! Fun place and one of the best places in town!

Had my niece's afternoon bridal shower at Orom on Saturday. The owner Mark Framke had not usually done afternoon parties as he is mainly a dinner venue but, agreed to try doing it. He hit it out of the box!! What a wonderful afternoon! Ambiance,...MoreThank you Bonnie it was our pleasure. And thank you so much for the very kind words I really appreciate it.

Went here on a Saturday night about 5:30. We had planned eating here but our first choice was packed and there was something going on near it. This like many restaurants that we have visited. We walked in and the sign read seat yourself. We found a booth and sat done. Water was set down and we were asked if we would like coffee. Our waitress arrived and took our drink orders. She returned and took our orders. My choose one of their specials pot roast and noodles. The waitress said it was one of their best sellers. She also ordered broccoli cheese soup. I ordered the seafood platter with a salad. Our meal arrived the pot roast serving was very large, my wife had leftovers for 2 days. My meal consisted of scallops, shrimp, perch, cod. My said the pot roast was good the meat was very tender and cut with a fork. There was a good amount of scallops and shrimp, a small piece od perch (2x4) and a large piece of cod that you would find in a fish sandwich. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an inexpensive and fast service. From 6 o'clock on the customers kept coming many of them regulars. We will try it again for breakfast.
