Reviewed By Catherine HI have been coming to this hotel and bringing friends for many years and it never disappoints. In fact I almost forget how spoiling it is until I return. It’s in a fabulous position for the skiing, has a beautiful spa area, bar and restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff. I hope to continue visiting for many years to come.

Reviewed By JTH3080Vital-Hotel Post is a nice and very well kept property in Dienten in the heart of the Hochkoenig region, just next to a hiking-bus stop and less than 5 minutes walk from the ski lifts. The hotel stands out due to its exceptionally friendly staff and service, complemented by excellent facilities and delicious meals. They also expanded the hotel last year, and the resulting new part of the restaurant plus the new (expanded) rooms are just as you would have hoped: perfect! This was our second visit to the hotel with our extended family, and the experience was at least as good as the first one two years ago, if not even better. I warmly recommend Vital-Hotel Post to anyone interested in warm Salzburgerland hospitality in a beautiful setting with excellent and very versatile hiking (and skiing in winter) infrastructure right on the door-step.

Reviewed By OldtiredmanThis is a beautiful traditional hotel, about an hour south of Salzburg. The team running the hotel were courteous, friendly and went to great lengths to make our stay as hospitable as possible. The food is great and the staff were especially accommodating for our son who is gluten-free. The hotel has there are good facilities for children, play areas inside and outside, including spa area and a small swimming pool at the back. There are great activities in the area, including some fantastic hill/mountain walks (beautiful scenery), and we recommend to get the Hochkönig card which provides some great benefits for exploring the area. Heartily recommend this hotel for families!

Huge room, rich meals
Reviewed By Dana BWe were lucky to get a really spacious room on our arrival with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains. As far as food is concerned, their buffet dinner is ridiculously rich and tasty and the breakfast is equally amazing. The staff is friendly and welcoming and always ready to offer you a schnapps. Some problems with the water temperature and pressure in the shower.

Reviewed By Luca SQuesta pensione è gestita da una ragazza molto gentile e disponibile, dispone di alcune camere e due appartamenti. La posizione è nel centro di Dienten, località tranquilla e perfetta per stare nella natura, i boschi circondano il paese. Viene fornita la colazione per tutti gli ospiti,anche per chi sta nell'appartamento. Colazione abbondante e gradevole. Consiglio questa struttura senza remore!

High price and client unfriendly communication
Reviewed By alexv309In itself a good location, but a few details made this an unpleasant experience. The road uphill to the apartment is not made snow free, leading to a dangerous downhill walk. After return in NL, we go a very, very unfriendly mail at an unprecedented negative tone. An email stating a police report due to stains of tomato soup on dining table and tooth paste in the sink. Even though we paid EUR 100 for cleaning, the owner still found it necessary to send a police report and keep the deposit of EU200 for additional cleaning. Even if the case would be valid, which we do not agree with, the tone is totally unacceptable, I repeat totally unacceptable! And, not one phone call and no reaction to our emails. Only after 3 emails and a phone call we got a reaction with once again an unacceptable tone. We have visited over 60 locations with our family, but have never experienced this. These chalets are not “designed” for a good customer experience.
