Our first stop before heading into Upper Mustang. Situated on a quaint stone street with a red facade. Cozy rooms. Delicious food. Wifi. And a fish tank! Loved their desserts and enjoyed the curios in their giftshop. Well worth a visit.

Very comfortable hotel accommodation in Jomsom in Lower Mustang. 27 Twin rooms with clean attached bathroom with piping hot solar showers. A very good place to choose if you want to reward yourself at the end of your trek before flying out from Jomsom airport, which is just 5 minutes walk away.
I waited 15 mins for someone to appear at the recption. Got a room where you had to climb VERY VERY steep steps. NO PORTER OR BELL HOP Carried it myself. NO coffee maker. NO ROOM SERVICE After I shouted at the only employee of the hotel he himself brought the food up since there is no other employee except maybe a cook. At 5 am we got up to have a bath and to my horror....NO HOT WATER. Later after I finished my bath with ice chilling water (2 deg C) he offered to get a bucket of hot water. A terrible experience

Moksha comes from a Sanskrit word that depicts ultimate freedom and liberation. A bespoke, sophisticated, cultural, spiritual, adventurous, and personal growth journey in the Kingdom of Mustang. Moksha Mustang perches high above the town of Jomsom at the gateway of Mustang, an isolated kingdom in Nepal, forbidden to outsiders for centuries. Moksha provides the perfect base for trekking in the surrounding area, exploring Buddhist culture, and diverse ethnicity of Gurungs and Magars, Thakalis, and Tibetan or just unwinding with a view of some of the highest snowcapped peaks in the world.
Such a beautiful resort in the heart of Jomsom. You shouldn't miss it while you're traveling to the Mustang region. The food is superb, hospitality great, location marvelous and the astounding finishing of this resort. Dazzling Nilgiri Himal right in front of you with the gorgeous views of Mustang panorama including Thini, Dhumba and beyond. Cannot wait to visit to this resort once again.

I was there during the end of Oct. with a Dutch couple doing Annapurna Circuit trek. It was the last night stop before the end of our trek. I booked a room for the couple and it was oaky. There was a next European couple who came from the same trek. During the evening, a group of 8 Nepalese travellers checked in who created a big noise and disturbance after drinking alcohol. Hotel owner knew that they were making big noises during the night before going to their rooms and will continue the noise disturbing other sleeping guests. But he didn’t change their room location. Exactly the same thing happened. Next morning he was telling me that he thought Nepalese group had disturbed the trekkers during the night. It was over 12:00 am they were banging doors, shouting and waking through the corridor. The 4-storeyed hotel building was empty over all other floors. They would have asked us (my clients) to change their room in next floor. We wouldn’t mind at all. During the dinner, my clients (Dutch Couple) ordered for a Vege Burger and a Daal-Bhat for each of them. Burger arrived first and they were waiting for Daal-Bhat. The waiting was too long and the female had her burger. Daal-Bhat arrived after 1 hour 10 minutes. They knew that they were a couple sitting in a same table.?? In the next table, the next couple told us that they were waiting for their main course of dinner(Tibetan Bread). Their dessert (Pancake) was already kept in the table before around 45 minutes. It was a big damn careless in management. The chef was newly appointed but at the same time, there were experienced owners too working in Kitchen. What we all loved about the hotel were: the foods were delicious, rooms were clean and the hot shower was really good.

This place looks fairly unassuming from the outside but has a lovely set of restored public rooms on the first floor including an amazing sizeable statue of Buddha hidden away in the middle of the building. The bedrooms at the top of the building are spacious and have views out over Kagbeni and Mustang, The food is good, and it's situated in a quiet location in the old town away from the traffic. The staff are great (as almost everywhere in Nepal!) and looked after our bicycles and spare kit safely for 10 days while we trekked to Lo Manthang. It's a cut above the small hotels and teahouses elsewhere.

A sister concern of Om's Home in Jomsom,Redhouse is an old building restored with a lot of charm. They have different categories with attached and common bathroom. Some rooms in the lower floors are dark so opt for the upper floors with attached bathroom. The room and the bathroom is clean. The rooms are mostly named after lakes and places of the Himalayas. The Lo Manthang room on the top floor has the best view of Nilgiri and the village. Food is good and the staff is very friendly. They have an annexe just a couple of house apart.

We stayed one day with a local family in Patheleket, a rural village famous for its organic farms. Our Nepali family was really lovely and they even allowed us to cook an Italian dish for them, just after a delicious Nepali barbecue. We recommend this experience for those who want to know the farmers’ way of living in Nepal.

Pending review This is one of the original guesthouses in Marpha and still one of the best places to stay. This was my third visit since 1990 and it's always the first place I would choose. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modern. The manager Kamala is very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about Marpha and Mustang in general, a great source of information about places to go hiking in the area. Last but not least, it's the best food in the village! Don't miss the enchilada and apple crumble. Highest recommendation!
